Sadie Gets a Life 0.2.6 Dev Log, 2026-01-08

The 0.2.5 release is in the books and there are a few bugfixes that will find their way into this new release. Two of them are minor game-breaking issues, so I'll include fixes here.

• If you have not received the Corbonary Rug Factory mission yet, please grab this bugfix. Unzip the archive and you will have one file, Map069.json. Place it into the SadieGetsALife\data\ directory and you should not have any issues. If you have already completed this mission, you're fine.

• If you side with the union during the Clear Sewer Rats mission, you'll want to grab this bugfix and replace Map106.json with it. Otherwise, you'll be blocked when trying to exit the sewers.

Otherwise, there are a few smaller bugfixes that I'll address in 0.2.6. Speaking of which, this upcoming release isn't necessarily the biggest in terms of number of new missions, but it does end the Den of Thieves storyline, so I needed to take care of business with a bang. The three remaining Den of Thieves missions are each fairly lengthy and I'd like to say the combination of missions wraps up that subplot reasonably well.

But we won't end there, no. After the conclusion to the Den of Thieves, we get back to the entire reason for being in Svetlanda: negotiations! I'll save those discussions for the next dev log, however. I'll also cover the final Isekai Order mission in Svetlanda and what comes next.

As a quick scheduling note, Act II is scheduled to end with release 0.2.7. Those with elite calendar skills will note that 0.2.6 will release to the general public on January 29th (or January 22nd for our intrepid Tier 3 members!). That means 0.2.7 will release on February 19th for Tier 3 members and February 26th for the general public. After that comes release 0.3.0, and my backlog is already overflowing with ideas on how to improve the game. I'll have a lot more to say about that over the next several weeks, but the first step is to release 0.2.6.
