Sadie Gets a Life 0.2.5 Dev Log, 2025-12-11
The 0.2.4 release is now in a fairly stable state. Unfortunately, there were several bugs, to the point that I needed to release 0.2.4a to address these. For more info, check out the prior release post, which I updated with those details. This week, we're on to Cincinnati 0.2.5.
The 0.2.5 release will probably be a little smaller than 0.2.4 but should still be substantial, both in terms of gameplay and sexy content. On the gameplay side, the Den of Thieves plotline is nearing its climax, so Sadie will be busy fighting the gangs of Svetlanda. On the sexy content side, I have four full-length sex scenes written out and images created for three of them.
I'm also working on finishing the script for Act II. I'm so, so close to the end, but it's not quite there yet. Still, finishing the script is one of my tasks for 0.2.5, even if you won't see the fruits of that labor for another couple of releases.
What you will see, though, is a few extra buildings that are not plot-relevant but will have some jokes and maybe a bit of cheesecake associated with them. The four that will show up in 0.2.5 are:
The Bone Zone in the Slums. I'll leave it to you to discover what it is.
U Betcha, a gambling grocery store in the Entertainment District.
The Lonely Hearts Inn, a brothel in the Entertainment District.
The Tea House, a surprisingly posh shop in the Slums.
In the next dev log, I'll talk a bit more about what else is coming in 0.2.5, as well as grand plans for the rest of Act II and the coveted 0.3.0 release that will begin Act III.
