Shoutout to Odin and his team. This process threw us plenty of curveballs, but Odin was always easy to work with and communicate with. We both learned a lot along the way, and I’m really proud of how the final product turned out. Zack D. Films "The 10-Second Time Machine" | Behind the Scenes (YouTub

Too graphic for the main channel. Crazy story though.

Animation quality wasn't there for this one.

The animation on this one didn't hit the bar for the main channel. Still a cool concept though.

A fun trick to break down, even if it didn't come together as planned.

Didn't love how the animation turned out on this one, interesting fact though

If you saw our new short film, what did you think? Did you like it? Were you confused? Was it too dark? I’d genuinely love to hear your thoughts. Link: https://youtu.be/7rd6HWqvaHQ

Quick one. This Patreon is free and it's staying free. Every video we post here goes to everyone, same as always. Nobody asked for this, but we've added two paid tiers anyway. One is $1 a month. One is $3 a month. Neither comes with anything. No perks, no secret videos. You get what you already get,

I thought this turned out a bit boring. What do you think?

Didn't post this on YouTube for obvious reasons. Good story though.

This one is complicated. The video argues that reintroducing wolves into Yellowstone helped restore the entire ecosystem, elk moved around more, plants grew back, beavers returned. It's a compelling story, and for a long time it was widely accepted. But a 2024 study challenges it. The willow populat

The story didn't "land" as well as I hoped. In all seriousness, this could have been misinterpreted as self harm, and we did not want to risk that on YouTube.

This one never quite hooked the way it needed to. Good story though.

We made an error in this video. We implied that shrink-wrapping (where artists cover a skeleton in a thin layer of skin with no fat or soft tissue) is still how dinosaurs are reconstructed today. It isn't. Modern paleoartists have moved away from that approach and use fossil evidence, comparisons to

The origin story in this video isn't true. It's a legend that's been repeated so many times online that it started to look like history, there's even a historical marker in the town. But when you actually trace it back, the accounts don't add up. The customer's identity, the restaurant's menu, the t

We make shorts. But today, we made a long. Check it out: https://youtu.be/LAl3pCigzKY

Didn't love how this one turned out visually. Story's still good though.

We're doing an internal animation contest and I thought these 3 shots were the coolest. I want you to help me decide which one of these wins. Shot 1. Ships. Shot 2. Axe. Shot 3. Popcorn.

The Watcher 😨 (fiction)

This took almost the entire year... different suppliers, samples, and failed attempts to get the quality right. I’ve personally tested every item, and it’s finally at a level I’m proud to share. And the Patreon is seeing it first 😎 [Check it out here] Open to feedback — what you like, what you don’

YouTube put an 18+ label on this video because there’s a part that touches on su*cide. I get it, they’re trying to be extra cautious. But at the same time, there are so many important stories that include this element and still deserve to be told. I don’t know… what do you think? And did you get a c

This video shows just how much sound effects can bring our videos to life. Our editors layer them perfectly with the voiceover and music, but hearing them on their own really shows how much they add.

The quality’s too low for the channel, but I'm posting it here in case you ever find yourself freezing to death… next to a freshly dead animal carcass.

Number 1 in the US this week and number 6 globally. 💪 We're coming for that #1 spot soon.

Here's one we decided not to post because it's too graphic. Crazy story though.
