Recap: September 2025
September went almost exactly as planned, with one little shift (we did vines instead of Puppet & Ghost). It was all about development and adding new content.
🧹 Maids & Object Maintenance
A huge milestone this month was giving maids real responsibilities. Objects now come with mana charges - each charge equals one interaction. When charges run out, it’s up to your maids to recharge them.
They also do chores like uprooting vine sprouts and, later on, any other “undesirable entities” we throw their way.
🌿 Vines - the first creepling (of hopefully many)
They sprout. They tile. They spread. Maids remove them. Succugirls… get entertained by them. Also, after the entertainment, succugirls gain temporary vine immunity. Everyone else (except Dryads, of course) tries to avoid stepping on vines, and if they do, they’re slowed by 40%.
💧 Slime
Last but not least - our very first non-client, non-staff character: the Slime.
Fully animated, fully functional, and very hungry. Here’s how it works:
The slime lives in a slime shower object that has mana charges.
If the charges run out, maids will try to recharge it before bad things happen.
If they fail, the slime escapes and hunts down a client.
Sell the object? The slime will still be around.
After the meal, Slime leaves the brothel for good, which means you’ll have to buy yourself a brand new one.
[In Plans] Slap the slime before it kills someone, and he'll get back into the shower. Giving you and your maids some extra time
🔧 Under the Hood
All these features came with brand new systems. Thanks to them, adding things like “slowing characters,” “creeplings infestations,” or “spawning a non-standard character” will be much faster and easier in the future.
🎵 Sound
Still on hold. I’m hoping our Sound Chad (Somjec) will be back soon. In the meantime, I’ll probably start reaching out to freelancers in the coming days, so we at least get some basic sound in place.
🔮 What’s Next (October)
Puppet and Ghost are up next.
After that, content expansion will pause for a bit while we focus on missing systems:
Characters’ patience (clients leaving if they wait too long)
Reputation (affecting client flow)
Basic game settings
Status popups (so you know why an object isn’t working)
And many other smaller things
My earlier estimate was 3–5 weeks from now to the first build. Now I’m leaning closer to 4-6 weeks. After that: Steam Keys, more people… and a hell ton of enjoyable work :)
