Monday Update - June 8, 2026
Yo! Hope you had a killer weekend. Here are some updates for you.
General Updates
We are going to shift to fewer, bigger updates instead of scrambling on weekly builds. So expect more of an every-other-week update from now on.
Wishlists just crossed 14,000, climbing around 200 a day now. Thank you for that! It matters more than you know.
Here's what we are focusing on this week.
Michael
Sorting out some compiler issues with the mod tools first
Getting the foundations of the new UI system in place so I (Joe) can start working on new UI.
Base programming structure in place for customization so the art team can get started on customization.
After these things, it's finally time for the "Steeze Pass," which is just redoing a bunch of physics, animations, and cameras to make the game look more stylish.
Cedric
Finishing off the remaining open-world trails.
Once those are done, he's shifting to Easter eggs and some technical climb challenges hidden around the world.
Also taking on more of the world-building and asset placement so the artists can stay focused on making assets.
Maggie
Bringing the day/night cycle into the forest environment.
Getting ski lift assets in and building out trees to fill the world.
Damien
Working on the grass — getting it to blend its color with the terrain underneath instead of looking like one flat uniform green.
Placing the rest of the plants and vegetation across the world.
Andreas
Finishing the textures on the Ranger gloves.
T-shirt textures are up next.
Joe
Heads-down on the third-person camera, sound, and UI.
Julian
Auditing the YouTube and Instagram channels to figure out what's working.
Typical social content.
Bryan
Helping Julian with a system for recording personal video thank-yous for new Patreon subscribers.
Getting Julian fully onboarded so we can push harder on the marketing side.
That's what we have planned for this week. We might do a patch update with some bug fixes, but no real big feature update this week.
Here's a shot of Chulo (Rad Dog shop dog) enjoying the new Rad Dog shop that just opened! Those shop doors have a lot of history behind them and have been moved around to many shops since the 90s. You'll likely find them in the Cranked Rad Dog shop in the future. 🤙
