Monday Update - June 15, 2026
Yo! Hope you had a killer weekend. I went on a fun night MTB ride with the Rad Dog crew, which was the highlight of my weekend. Here's what's going on in the project.
General Updates
We're dropping a new build this week (hopefully). It's got the latest art updates, another brand-new 3rd-person camera, modding updates, and MAYBE the first basic version of player customization.
Here's what we're focusing on this week.
Michael
Building the backend for player customization.
Working on fixing the wheels.
After that, time for new rider animations, body positions, etc.
Maggie
Setting up the folder structure for all the rider customization assets so everything stays organized as we build it out.
More environment art.
Damien
Scattering ground debris around the world, falling twigs and leaves, plus a bunch of other little environmental details.
Improved water
Microsplat scatter
Cedric
New trails in the open world.
Redesigning that long flat trail near Roosevelt Avenue into something with flowing rollers and tables, turning a boring straightaway into something fun to ride.
Andreas
Wrapped the first pair of gloves, now onto the second pair. Going faster now that the art direction is locked in.
Joe
Heads-down building the new settings menu and getting it into the game UI.
Working on new SFX with Paulie.
Julian
Working on a full audit of our social platforms.
Regular social posts.
And once the customization foundations and new UI are in, we're finally getting to the Steeze Pass, where we redo a bunch of physics, animations, and cameras to make the game look way more stylish.
That's the plan for this week. Thanks to all the new members!
