Monster Manual 2025: The Bone Devil!

Hello friends! Today I worked on the Bone Devil from the new MM! This was an excellent modeling and sculpting project. I really enjoyed working on the little details of this guy. I made two versions. One is "flying" and is a more resin focused model. You can in theory print it in FDM if you print it at its current orientation but you'll lose some details on the tail in support removal. The flying version in theory can stand on its own with no stand, but, in case it tips over anyway you can glue it to the attached Large creature size marker.

I also made a version on the ground better suited for FDM printing if you print it at its current angle. You need to block supports from forming in the fingers given they are already pointed upward and don't need supports.

I was tempted to make a third version that's more sinister and looks like he's plotting something, but, I ran out of time and I need to maintain the work / life balance here haha. Either way there's a rigged up version if anyone wants to get creative. You need to do some basic sculpting on the face to give him a sneer though ha. The mouth open and closes mostly.
