Reef to Plate: Catching, Cooking, and Sharing in Palau (Extended Expedition)
This one felt special from the moment we started filming. Welcome back to another week in Palau, onboard La Vagabonde.
This week, our skills are tested in some very sharky waters as we try to catch a feed for the crew! After Riles and Jai teamed up to land a massive Rainbow Runner, we explored the islands. We were blown away by the legendary Badrulchau Stone Monoliths, whose origins are fiercely debated... half-myth, half-history and maybe even lost to time? (PS: Let us know what you think of Lenny and Darwin’s history segment... Riles and I think it might be one of the cutest things we’ve ever filmed for you guys lol. If you want more of those little adventure sound bites, let us know in the comments below 💛 ).
As always, thank you for supporting these slower, deeper versions of our episodes. We simply couldn't experience and film within areas as remote as these, without it. We hope you enjoy this early preview of tomorrow's drop!
Love,
Elayna, Riley, Lenny & Darwin

you were feeling sad because Axel wasn't on the boat... his grey mud cameo is so good.
Lenny and Darwin will be the next Aquaman! Very cool to see their diving progress.
Swimming in school of sharks is not for the weak hearted. Amazing you were able to snag a tuna and hit it into the dingy! Really enjoyed your footage of teaching the boys and Lydia (sp) on free diving! Riley how long can you dive before having to surface for a breath?
Great seeing Lenny describe historical artifacts. Hope you keep this up and include Darwin soon.
Watching Lenny and Darwin grow has been such an amazing thing. They are communicating so well. The history lecture spots were wonderful. Another great video. I catch myself with a smile through the whole video.
There was something about this video with the kiddos free diving and such that Really struck me of how amazingly wonderful it would be to be watching the intellectual growth of the boys and their abilities that are years ahead of most children. It must be an amazingly deep joy watching them develop daily and with that the depth of their curiosity/desire to know things. Without ever meeting them myself, it still makes me choke up watching them. They, and what you teach them is/are at miracle level. I deeply congratulate you all for the world they are provided to grow in. Peace, love and joy be to you all!!!!!
Another fantastic video. Yes please have more “teaching segments” with Lenny and Darwin (if they enjoy them)! You certainly show the good (exploring, laughter and fishing and diving), the bad (sail challenges), and the ugly (poopy toilet razor recovery) that shows many of the areas of boat life that you all experience. Thank you.
I LOVED the little segment of the videos shot on film. You’re totally right there’s something magical about it ✨
Elayna was just missing her good friend axel 😢. She seemed happier when he got back.
❤ GR8 VID ~ LOVED IT ❤
