Episode 4 starts with Peem’s father wanting an explanation because someone told him that they failed to secure a deal, and Songsak signed with competitor that morning. He asks her if she didn’t promised him to handle this properly. Peem admits right away that it was her mistake, and her father asks if it was because of that woman, claiming Phat told him everything, and arguing that she delivered her to the place, and asks what happened then. Peem argues that trading a woman for a contract isn’t work, but he asks why is it not, and argues that it’s business – they give him what he wants in exchange for what they want. But claims if it was an object, she wouldn’t mind, but she argues that Parn’s a person. Her father claims that she never acted like that before, that she didn’t show up at the company, didn’t answer her phone and ran away from problems. He asks her if she knows how much to company lost because of what she did, and claims the Peem he knows would never do this. Parn waits for Peem in her office, but as she comes in, she just hugs Parn and tells her they should go home. Back at home, she confirms to Parn that Songsak has signed with someone else. Parn wants to know what she is going to do, but Peem claims there’s nothing she can do, and no matter how many times she had to choose, she would always choose Parn. She apologizes for making her feel bad that night, Later, she is watching the stars from her apartment, and Peem claims that she usually can’t see them in the city because there are so many lights. She claims that in big cities like this, there are so many successful people just like those stars, but that there will be one star that stands out more than the others. Now matter how many lights there are, they can never overshadow it, just like her. No one can make her lose her light, she argues. Peem asks if Parn is trying to make her feel better, and Parn believes that Peem can get through this as long as she doesn’t give up, and will always find a way forward. Peem hugs Parm and claims that it actually her, she is the little star that’s shining the brightest in her life right now. She wakes up with Parn in her bed and kisses her on the forehead before she gets up. Parn wakes up by a ring of her phone and gets a text from Techin urging her to call him back and claims it’s urgent. She calls him back and claims she can’t see him that day, and will call him back when it’s convenient. Peem returns dressed for work and finds Parn sitting in front of their bed, who claims that she will keep her companied at work, and argues it was her who told her that just staying by her side was enough, so she wants to do just that when she has to face things like this. Peem argues that if she says such sweet things like that, they won’t make it to work. But Parm just kisses her once, the heads for the shower, and declines Peem’s wish to join her, because she doesn’t want her to be late for work. After a Vaseline ad, they come into Peem office where her father is already waiting and want to talk to her – alone; Peem waits in outside of the office but in hearing distance and thus hears their argument. He wants to know if this is the wh*re she picked up from a bar, and couldn’t she find anyone else. He doesn’t care that she’s a woman, but he does mind that she picked up a random nobody and decided to wife her up. He shows her the news which reports that she is still happy and in love after losing a major deal to a competitor, and argues that she hasn’t even settled the contract issue with the board yet, and now she has caused a new problem. He wants to know if she realizes how much of a mess she caused. But Peem argues that her father shouldn’t blame her, with her father responding that he isn’t blaming her, he is blaming that wh*re. Peem doesn’t want him to look down on Parm like that and claims it’s just her job. Her father claims that her job is just sitting and lying around, that’s want she’s good at, and argues what’s so special about it. He just doesn’t get why she made her her personal assistant, and just has her lounging around the house. Is she so stupid that she’s getting fooled by a wh*re? He argues that this kind of person always chooses money, and she will go with whoever has it – just like – he wants to say, “her mother,” and Peem argues he just realized that he’s no different form her. Her father admits that he was stupid and once fell for this kind of person, and that’s why he’s warning her: he doesn’t want her to get hurt, because in the end, she will choose money and not her. but Peem doesn’t care and argues if he could love mother, she can love Parn. She believes that Parn is not with her because of money, unlike what mother did to him. He slaps her and leaves. Parn returns to her office and hugs her as Peem sheds some tears. Later, Peem asks her if she heard everything that her father and her talked about, and Parn confirms it. Peem admits that her mother is a sex worker, and her relatives told her that she intentionally got pregnant to trap her father. After she gave birth to her, she demanded money from him in exchange for her- She claims to have no memories of her mother, only of what she did and what she heard from her relatives. When she met Parn at Paradise that day, she thought she was like her mother, trying to land a rich partner to improve her life, trying to get close to her for money and a comfortable life. But after she got to know her and spent some time with her, she realized that she would never be like her mother, because money can’t buy her. Parn confirms that money can buy her time, but never herself. Peem hugs her again as she apologizes for everything, but Parn claims she doesn’t need to apologize, it’s enough that she understands. Mol, the Paradise owner, looks at revenue development and argues to herself if it keeps dropping she will need to shut the place down. She thinks about calling Parn, but ultimately decides against it. Techin comes in and she claims the club isn’t open yet, but Techin claims he hasn’t been able to get a hold of Parn lately. Mal claims that she also hasn’t been in touch with her. Techin reports that she told him she would call him back when it’s convenient but hasn’t called him back yet. Mol argues that maybe she has decided to leave this line of work. Techin wants to know if Parn won’t accept him as a client anymore, and Mol claims that’s a good thing, a woman has managed to leave this place. Later, Parn asks Peem if she’s still thinking about it, and Peem claims she tried to stop, but can’t help it. Parn wants to know if she doesn’t have to go to the office the next day, and Peem doesn’t want her to overthink it and claims she is just having a fight with her father. Parn admits that she was just about to ask if she can skip going to the office that next day, as she wants to take a baking class. Peem offers to take care of the fees, but Parn isn’t asking her for money, she is asking for her permission. Peem claims that if something makes her happy, she can go ahead and do it, and they kiss. Peem leaves for work and wants to be sure that Parn doesn’t want a ride, but Parn claims she will go there herself, telling her to drive safely and get home early. Parn really goes to a baking class while Peem runs into her father at the office who doesn’t want to talk to her. In the evening, Parn returns home and finds Peem already there who claims she didn’t get to talk with her father that day. She wants her to sit on her lap, then asks her if she will stay by her side like this always, and Parn realizes that she calls her by her name, which is unusual. But Peem claims she will do it from now on and kisses her. Techin calls Parn again claiming that she would call her when it’s convenient, but she never did. Parn wants to know what he wants, and he claims he wanted to warn her about Songsak, arguing that he won’t give up easily, and he told him that if he can’t have her, no one can. He thinks that he’s going to do something, and Parn promises to be careful. Techin thinks he won’t do anything to her. Over dinner, Techin reports that Songsak doesn’t know hat to lose. Parn argues that he’s going to hurt Peem, and Techin argues that Peem got in his way and humiliated him. She wants Techin to help her find a way to meet him. Parn return to Paradise bringing baked goods for Mol, but Mol doesn’t want to have them and claims they make her fat. Parn thinks that she’s mad because she didn’t tell her herself that she quit, and apologizes for it, claiming she just didn’t have the courage and was afraid, as she is like her older sister having take care of her since she was a kid. She argues that it was Mol who gave her the chance that got her to where she is that day. She doesn’t want her to think that all ties are severed after she quit. But Mol wants them to be severed, she doesn’t want her to come back and work this job again, she wants her to go and have a good life, marry a rich person. But Parn vows she will never cut ties with her, and hugs her. Mol asks if Peem does take good care of her, and she confirms it. She asks if Peem show respect to her Angel, and she confirms that as well. Mol claims that if one day she hurts her, she will always have Mol. She returns home to find that Peem has bought her her favorite yoghurt drink in bulk as it was on sale, she claims. Parn is happy that she remembers she likes it, and wants to know why is she back early that day, but Peem claims that there is nothing left to handle at the office, and Parn thinks that Peem missed her, and Peem confirms it, and wants to know why is Parn back late that day. Parn explains that she stopped to buy some things, and Peem wants her to wait for her next time so that they can go together, as she doesn’t have a car and things are heavy, she should wait, so that she can help her carry them. Peem notices that Parn is sad and wants to know what is wrong, and Parn claims that she doesn’t know how long this happiness will last. Peem claims that it will last long and could even last a lifetime, and Parn claims that she wants to be with her with Peem arguing that she wants to be with her all day and all night as she kisses her again, and they start to make out. Parn returns to Paradise, and Mol wants to know if she’s sure. She confirms it as she meets Songsak, whose bodyguard stops Mol from entering as well. Songsak claims that this place suits her better. She claims that Peem had nothing to do with it, and that it was all her fault what happened that day. Songsak thinks she is worried about her, and does Peem know that she has to do something like this as he touches her face. Parn takes his hand away and claims he just wants to win, and she asks if he wins, can he let this end there? Songsak claims that he likes about her that she’s brave and bold as he touches her arm. But the more she tries to protect, the more he wants to destroy, but he won’t touch Peem, he claims, if she does as he says. Mal inform Peem about what is going on as Parn is drinking liquid courage, and Peem incapacitates his bodyguard and enters the room where Parn and Songsak are, throws his drink at him and claims he just wouldn’t let it and has to do it behind her back, with Parn claiming she was the one who asked Songsak to come, as she is the one who caused the problem, arguing if she had just gone along with it that day, things wouldn’t have reached this point. But Peem asks Songsak what she has to do to make him stop. He claims she knows what he wants – Parn, for one night, in exchange for a billion-baht business deal. He claims that he’s at a disadvantage here, as there’s no way that this woman is worth a billion. Peem claims that maybe she isn’t worth that much to him, but to her she is worth more than that, as she drags Parn behind her. Songsak doesn’t believe that a wh*re can be worth more than a billion Baht, and wants to know if she is joking, but Peem goes down on her knees and tells him he can do anything to her but has to leave Parn alone. Songsak has prepared two large trays of shots and claims if Peem can drink all of them and still stands, she can take her person and leave, and he’ll consider things between them over. She completes almost all of the shots before she staggers into Parm’s arms, and the leave together (I don’t know if this counts as “still standing,” but…). As they go home, Peem wants to know if he did anything to her before she loses consciousness. She wakes up with a hangover from hell on her couch with Parn beside her, who, as she wakes up, wants to know how Peem is feeling, and she claims she has a bad headache, and is sorry for making her worry. But Parn claims she should be the one apologizing as she sheds some tears, as she is sorry for leaving like that, for doing such a reckless thing, and for getting Peem in trouble. She lay there listening to the sound of her heart all night, because she was worried it would stop beating. Peem puts Parn’s hand on her heart and claims it’s still beating, and she doesn’t want her to cry anymore. She wants Parn to promise her that she won’t lie and put herself at risk again, because if something would happen to her, her heart wouldn’t be able to take it. They take a bath together, and Peem wants to know if she already expected what Songsak would want from her as she went to him, Parn admits that she had somewhat of an idea. Peem wants to know why she went anyway, and Parm claims she went because she wanted her to get the job done. She argues that Peem’s work is very important to her, as she saw that she worked very hard. And if a woman like here is valuable enough to help her land a billion-Baht project, then she should do it. Peem thanks her for loving her, but next time, she shouldn’t sacrifice so much for her. They kiss again, and Parn claims it’s because she loves her. Later, she brings her some hangover soup, and feeds it to her as Peem claims her hands are to weak even though she claims that is clearly just an excuse. Peem like the soup but the feeding session get interrupted by her father calling her back into the office. Her father has found a new investor who is interested in working with them – a Mr. Wang from Wang Capital, who holds an investment portfolio with nearly ten billion Baht (circa 300,000,000 US$) in Southeast Asia, and they are looking for a flagship project in Bangkok. And Mr. Wang isn’t like Songsak, he is a rational person who doesn’t let emotion affect his work. If he sees that their project can generate profits, he argues, he will likely invest with them. Peem promises that she can make it happen, and she apologizes for speaking rudely to him, with her father apologizing that he was too harsh on her. She promises not to let him dawn this time, and her father claims that she’s a grown-up now, and as she gets older she needs to be even more careful and needs to be able to see though people. Peem thinks that he is talking about Parn and can tell him that she’s a good person. He won’t stop her from dating her, but argues that show should really know her well, and has seen every side of her, before she commits to her, arguing when you love or like someone, you tend to focus only on the good things. He just doesn’t want her to get hurt like he did. Parn checks out a small shop space where she wants to open a bakery, and tells Peem about it as soon as she gets back from the office, they wants to know about her day. Peem tells her that they found a new investor who doesn’t seem difficult to deal with, and she made up with her father. Parn is happy for her. Parn returns to Paradise once again to meet Mol, but notices some disarray, and searches for Mol. She finds her outside with two loan sharks who are there to collect ten million Baht (circa 300,000 US$) and point a gun at her. Parm goes over and pleads with them to give her a little more time. They eventually give her a week to pay back the full amount and leave. And that’s where the first half of “Pls love” ends. ___ That shifted things as Parn tried to get Peem’s deal back even by essentially selling her body. Peem should know that Parn would do anything for Peem and her friends, but next week, the doubt will return, as she tries to solve a ten million Baht problem without confiding in her, it seems. So, they relationship between Peem and Parn progressed this week, but isn’t stable enough yet – as we need more conflict for the second half of the show. This week was mostly good as their understanding for each other deepened, but the previews show that it’s still fragile.
