Some Deals Aren’t Worth Making | PLS Love | EP 3 | Uncut Reaction
For once, Pheem and Pan are allowed to exist without constantly fighting their attraction. Their relationship begins to soften as quiet mornings, cooking, baking, and small acts of care reveal feelings that neither woman has been willing to fully acknowledge.
But their fragile peace doesn't last.
With a billion-baht business deal hanging in the balance, Mr. Songsak forces Pheem into an unthinkable choice: protect Pan or sacrifice her to secure the future of her business empire. Pheem initially finds herself trapped between the deal she desperately needs and the woman she's becoming increasingly determined to protect.
When the situation goes too far, Pheem makes her choice. She intervenes before Songsak can hurt Pan, destroying the deal in the process.
And after everything they've been through, their dynamic shifts once again when Pan takes the lead—initiating a tender kiss that suggests Pheem's carefully constructed emotional walls may finally be starting to fall.

For me, Peem is not green yet, but I'm acknowledging that she's trying to get better.
Episode 3 starts as Peem and Parn are lying in bed after “doing it” again (mainly Peem forcing herself onto Parn, with Parn eventually letting her), as Parn is wondering why Peem doesn’t believe her that there’s really nothing between Techin and her. We get a flashback of Techin trying to hire Parn to spy on her, but Parn refusing to do so. Parn is trying to get out of bed, but Peem is refusing to let her, wanting her to stay still because she is trying to sleep. She claims she is role-playing a couple as she hugs her. Parn’s phone rings, but as she picks it up, Parm grabs it out of her hands arguing didn’t she quit, and wanting her to cut tier with those people. Parn claims that she needs to social life too, but Parn argues that she doesn’t need to socialize with wh*res, and tells her that she f*cking hates wh*res like her as she gets up and leaves the bed. Later, Parn is making cupcakes again ignoring Peem, who eventually wants to get home, but asks if she can buy some cupcakes to take them home. Parn claims that she doesn’t have to buy them which prompt Peem to wanting to take all of them, with Parn claiming that she still needs to deliver those to the shop, but offers to take as many as she wants, if she helps her making them. This starts a montage of them making cupcakes together (to the tune of Loving Caliber’s “I wish you were mine”) – and making a mess in general – but they are having fun. Afterwards, Peem tells Parn she has to come work with her, and to dress nicely and meet her at the office. Parn want to know what she wants her to do, and Parn claims that she has a company deal she needs to close, where she needs him to sign the contract. Parn asks her if that deal means a lot to her, and Peem confirms it. So, Parn goes to her office at 9 a.m. the next day, with Peem arguing that if she manages to close the deal for her, she will pay her another 5 million THB (some 150,000 US$), and wipe out her family’s five-million Baht debt. She enters Peem’s office, and Peem assigns her a desk next to her own, claiming she wants to keep an eye on her, so that she won’t cause trouble for others. She needs her to memorize all of this, pointing to a stack of folders on her desk, arguing she needs to know everything that Peem knows. Peem leaves the office and runs into her cousin Pat who already knows she brought Parn to work, with Peem arguing that she needs to know every detail of the project if she is going to negotiate the deal for them. He wants to tell the boss that the deal is practically done, and will hurry to set up a meeting with Songsak for her before Techin does. Peem returns to her office and wants to order lunch. Her assistant comes in to take her order, then wants Parn’s as well. She at first wants only to order a drink but eventually tells the assistant to order anything for her. At lunch, Peem is sitting alone while Parn drinks something until she calls her to her desk arguing how long will she make her wait, and feeding her some bread roll arguing that she will get a stomachache if she doesn’t eat on schedule – and eventually kissing her, claiming that it’s a reward for a good girl. Parm thinks that she is role-playing again and joins her for lunch. The next day, Parn wakes up at 6:30 a.m. on the floor (where she was memorizing the project details) and rushes to get to work. Pat tells Peem that he got a date with Songsak for that night at eight. He already informed him that Angel will be there as well and tells Peem to bring the contract with her. But Peem does not seem happy about it. Parn has learned everything about the project Peem is pitching and gives her a quick rundown of the facts. Parn then tells her she can go home early that day, for she will pick her up at seven for their meeting with Songsak for the contract. Parn at home gets ready for the meeting as Parn struggles to concentrate at work. At night, Parn is wearing a stunning dress which startles Peem momentarily as she picks her up. She claims she looks decent, as she tenderly puts an expensive necklace on her, claiming that now she looks a little more expensive, and looks pretty now. Songsak awaits them and claims that Angel is looking even prettier than what they say. Peem want to get straight to business and lets Parn tell Songsak about the project – but he cuts her off after just two sentences, claiming he will sign the contract and asking Peem if she brought the contract. She hands over an envelope which he doesn’t open but wants to cheer with them, which Parn hesitates to do. Songsak claims that he will take care of the contract tomorrow and send it back to Peem, and claims that she knows what he wants now, but doesn’t want to force them. Peem takes out her phone and transfers five million Baht to Parn, who claims it’s all right after that and leaves with Songsak. Peem is remembering her time with Parn as they leave, but thinks to herself that it’s just a job and Parn has done this many times. Songsak get handsy very quicky as they move to his hotel room, but then there’s a knock on his door. It’s Peem, and Songsak suspects that she is afraid he won’t keep his word, signs the contract right then and there and hands it over to Peem. But Peem doesn’t take it and wants the tearful Parn back. She grabs her, and they leave the hotel together. Later, she wants Parn to tell her where he touched her and proceeds to rub and kiss off all traces of him. Eventually, they get undressed as she proceeds to wash her clear. They kiss and Peem wants her to call her by her name as they make out, with Parn fulfilling her wish. The next day, they are lying together in each other’s arms in bed. Peem gets up first and prepares breakfast for them, with Parn taking off Peem’s apron as she wakes up and joins her for breakfast. After breakfast, Parn is looking forlorn out of Peem’s window as Peem asks her why she hasn’t gotten dressed yet. Parn wanted to talk to her first about the night before and claims that she needs to return her money because she didn’t close the deal for her. But Peem doesn’t want it back and wants her to consider it payment. Parn wants to know if that means she will continue to hire her, and Peem confirms it. Parn asks what Peem wants her to do this time, but Peem just wants her to stay by her side. She wants her to get dressed because she is taking her to get her clothes, because Parn is moving in the Peem, she argues. (that is quick even for u-haul clichés… 😊) At her home, Peem notices that Parn doesn’t have a lot of clothes and wonders what she is doing with all the money she gets from lots of clients. Parn claims that she has other expenses to take care of. Peem argues that she might host bars and spend all her money for the guys there and has heard that women in her line of work have to please men and want to be pampered too, so she might spend her money on host boys to be pampered. But Parn claims that’s not her. She also doesn’t have a car and gets to work via Taxi. Peem wants to know where the hundreds of thousands of Baht go that she makes each day. Is it gambling? And Peem finally guesses correctly that it goes to her family, whom she has no choice but to help, she claims. But Peem argues that she does have a choice. Parn argues that maybe Peem has a choice, but she doesn’t get to choose what she want or doesn’t want to do. For her, she argues, money is about survival. She argues that Peem was born with everything and doesn’t understand it, but she has to struggle for everything herself. Returning to Peem’s condo, Parm notices a number of shopping bags, and Peem claims they contain clothes for Parn, claiming that the four outfits she gave her aren’t enough for work, but Parn arguing that even a month wouldn’t suffice to wear them all, but Peem claiming that it’s better to have too much than too little. Parn wants to know where she’s supposed to sleep, and Peem claims that there is only one bedroom, so she will sleep in there with her. She shouldn’t act like they never slept together, arguing that before this, they did more than just sleep. Or does she want to try somewhere else, like the kitchen or the dining table, or if she wants to go somewhere else, they can do it in the car, she whispers close to her face. Pat calls, but Peem doesn’t pick up the call. He calls again with Parn noticing it but Peem claims she doesn’t want to talk to him right now. In bed, Parm notices that Pem is stressed and tells her to hug her, before claiming that what she can’t fix that day she will fix the next day and it will pass. Peem wants to know if she does this for every client, but Parn claims that she’s the first, and Peem claims that she’s the first one she has done this for, too. Techin closes the deal with Songsak, but is surprised that Peem couldn’t close the deal before him. Songsak claims that this woman doesn’t have a brain, so the deal fell through. Techin want to know if her father will be angry with him, but Songsak claims that he will find out that the daughter he groomed to take over his company is an idiot, arguing that she couldn’t even figure out what to choose between a billion Baht and a wh*re. Parn has brought Peem to a park that she frequents when she’s stressed, and Peem claims that it helps a little. Parn’s former boss calls her, and Peem gets agitated asking why she keeps bothering her after she quit. Parn admits that she only told Miew to tell her because she didn’t have the courage to tell her herself. She claims that she owes her a lot, arguing that she gave her a job when she was just a kid – with Peem arguing that this was illegal – but Parn continues to tell her that she hired her as a dishwasher, because she couldn’t stand seeing her cry. She argues that she wouldn’t what she would have done if she didn’t give her that job. But it only paid 300 THB (9 US$) a day, and it wasn’t enough for her family’s expenses. She saw those girls making stacks of cash and getting expensive gifts from clients, and she wanted that kind of money, so she asked her boss to let her work out front. She warned her that once she got into that line of work, it would be hard to get out and told her to find something else to do. But no matter how hard she tried, it’s wasn’t enough for her family, so in the end, she had to work there anyway. Peem claims that she won’t stop her if she wants to talk to her boss, and Parn thanks her for understanding by kissing her. Then, Pat calls again but Peem still doesn’t pick up the call. His assistant want him to see the chairman now and mentions that he has been briefed about the deal between Techin and Songsak already. Pat wonders if Peem will answer her the boss calls her himself. She does, and she tells him she will come to the office right away. And that’s where episode 3 ends. ____ This was much better than last week, as Peem ceased to mistreat Parn and clearly felt the attraction between her and the escort, even rescuing her out of Songsak’s hands where she put her herself and u-hauling with her. While I don’t know whether she understands her now completely, her stance toward Parn changed from disdain and open hostility to only occasional incredulity and confusion. But Peem has a price to pay for it with her father, and he surely will come cashing it in next week. So, this was a welcome respite, but only temporary, and the storm will be coming.
