„Broken Girl“ starts with Prim and Min fighting, because Min cancelled all her work for a month, Min argues that she can’t tell their clients when Prim will be available for work, so she had to cancel all schedules. But Prim wanted Min to ask her first and find a replacement if she’s not available; Min argues that the clients come because they want her work, but Prim thinks she should have found a better solution. Min claims that she tried to excuse Prim and had to come up with an excuse, because she couldn’t tell them that Prim wanted to take care of Bambi instead. She argues that Min has also personal issues, but she had to cover for Prim. She hopes that love she sacrifices her work for is worth in, and tells her not to come crying to her, as she won’t he her doormat anymore. Prim argues that she takes full responsibility for her errors and she doesn’t need any comfort from her. She tells her if she’s tired, she can stop. And Min says she will stop – and withdraw from the company. She leaves, and Prim needs a new producer. After the credits, Shasha is at an event and Gorya thinks she looks cool in her leather cloak, and she can play a spy using it. Shasha claims Gory is overstating, but claims to like this for her unusual style of clothes. Gorya claims it’s what the client wants, and Shasha claims a compliment from her girlfriend makes her look a hundred time better. Gorya argues that she is cast in an international film and wonders if she will dump her if she becomes more famous. But Shasha claims she wants her by her side in both work and personal life. Gorya argues that fame can change people, but Shasha tells her not to worry, and reiterates that if she could choose, she wouldn’t choose this career, she would choose to have a girlfriend and cuddle and kiss her. She motions to do that but Gorya wants her to stop for she will ruin her makeup. Then, Shasha’s mother comes in, asking her why she’s wearing this. She’s arguing that the event is full of famous directors and producers and she should wear a better outfit. She accuses Gorya of making her look bad, and should wear more girly outfits, but Gorya claims she is dress the way the client wants, and argues it’s a cool look fit for her next movie. But mother wants to see Shasha in a different style and argues her current outfit doesn’t make her shine. She thinks Gorya hasn’t made her homework and should have checked the guest list. Gorya claims she did that and argues again that Shasha’s outfit is in line with the organizer’s demands, but offers to change it. And Shasha’s mother wants her to clear every outfit with her from now on, so there won’t be any more mistakes. She reiterates that Shasha should wear more feminine clothes to this event – and this is what she wants. Shasha argues that she wants to wear what Gorya chose for her, but Shasha’s mother argues that can still change her mind, and presents her a more girly outfit and her staff to support Gorya with Shasha’s hectic schedule. Meanwhile, Man is packing her stuff up at “Lady Bird” with Praew helping her, arguing that Prim doesn’t care about anyone else but Bambi. But Praew claims she does care about Min as well, and only afraid to lose her love. But Min claims that’s how life is, no one gets everything; Praew argues that what if that happened to them, if she really needed her, but she das to choose work over her. She thinks she would understand her, but argues that it would still hurt. And she recommends that Min should be Prim’s friend instead of her business partner, maybe that will help her understand her. Min argues that luckily, there is no problem between them. But Praew claims that there is, and argues that she wants her to hang out with her friends. She wants to show her off. And Min agrees but has to meet her mom first, and will meet her there. They hug, and Min claims that Praew is the only thing that can make her smile. Bambi is at an event meeting a famous producer, Ginny, and introduces Prim as wanting to make a movie. Prim argues that many of her favorite movie were produced by her, and Ginny wants her to send her a script, then come to her office so that they can talk. Prim will do so, and later thinks that will be a dream come true if she can work with her on a movie. Bambi encourages her to achieve her dream of being a film director and tells her to tell Min to have her account ready, the company will make millions. But Prim get silent all of a sudden, and Bambi asks if she hasn’t reconciled with Min. But Prim claims they are fighting about trivial things, and that’s how it is when you open a business with a friend. She mentions that Min resigned, and Bambi is shocked that it’s that bad, but Prim claims that it’s okay, and nothing to worry about – she still has Bambi, and everything will get better. Prim wants to thanks her for helping her find her goal in life. She wants to end the conversation and go inside but someone steps on and rips Bambi’s dress. Prim wants to help her but Bambi pushes her inside, then flees to the restrooms. Shasha is wearing the more feminine dress as her mother desired to the same event and her mother thinks this outfit is perfect for Shasha. And Gorya agrees that she looks great, but doesn’t look confident. Her mother thinks that Shasha doesn’t know that’s good for her, and that she has to choose for her. Gorya wants to fix something but mother holds her back claiming that her staff will take care of it, and argues that this is a big event, so she should let someone with experience do it and reminds her to keep her distance or people might gossip about them. She just wants to be cautious. Gorya leaves for the restroom only to find Bambi in there frantic any she breaks down crying as Gorya wants to know what happened to her dress. But she doesn’t cry because of her dress, Bambi claims, and argues that she is tired having an amazing girlfriend, yet not being happy. She tells Gorya that Prim and Min are fighting because of her, and argues that she’s ruining their company. But Gorya doesn’t think so, she claims as she starts fixing her dress, arguing that they are friends and will work it out. Bambi claims that Prim has to choose between her girlfriend or her friend and her work, and argues that her own bucket list is all about Prim’s success, having introduced her to a producer that day. One day, she will have a chance to make her movie, she will win an award, but if she’s still with her, she might never achieve her dream. Gorya claims that she thinks Prim would want her next to her when she becomes successful. Bambi realizes that Gorya has fixed her dress and thanks her for it, but Gorya claims that Babmi wanted to be her friend, so now she is. Bambi calms down, the asks how things with Shasha are, as she heard her mother returned. Gorya is not sure if she’s an angel or a devil, but Bambi is sure that she can handle her, and claims if she didn’t date Shasha, she would set her up with Prim, but Gorya claims she completely over her, thinks Bambi is a perfect match for Prim, and tells her not to leave her. In the evening, Min is with Praew friends, who celebrate their graduation, and empty a beer glass in one go. Praew wants her that her friends are heavyweights, but Min claims to have her own wild days in the past. She confirms that she co-owns “Lady Bird”, which her friends find so cool and they want to know how she ended up with Praew as a pretty and smart woman. Praew claims they should be on her side, but her friends want to know why she’s dating a kid like her. Min claims she makes her smile and feel comfortable, and she opens a door to a new world for her, and she also pretty and cute. Her friends want to know if she prettier that her ex, and Min argues that of course Praew is prettier, because her ex is a guy. She is then asked if she’s bi, non-binary, pansexual or a lesbian who just realized it, but Min never thought to define herself that way. And her friends claim no matter what she is, Praew still loves her, and argue that she doesn’t fall in love easily – in fact, Min is her first girlfriend. They all cheer to Min and Praew and their love. Later, Min thanks Praew for taking her to her friends, she thought it would be awkward because of their age gap. But Praew thinks she should be the one to thank her for stepping into her world. Min claims of course she want to step into her world, meeting her friends and learning new things about her. It makes her feel even more important to her than before. Praew takes her hand and says she is also important to her, and Min admits that at first she couldn’t picture them together, couldn’t picture how she would be a part of her life and vice versa. But she can see it clearly now. Baipor tells Prim that she is nominated for an award as the “best ad director”, and Prim is shocked that all the other nominees are famous directors. Baipor praises her arguing she has made it. But Min thinks about Min, wanting to know if she knows. Baipor isn’t sure as she hasn’t seen her that day, then wants to know if they are still not talking. Prim claims Min refuses to talk to her, but Baipor argues that they are best friends and built this company together; she argues that she’s been nominated because they worked together, and should put down her ego and make up with her. She leaves Prim alone with her thoughts. Gorya and Shasha are at the shooting range again, and Shasha apologizes for her mother being this involved. But Bambi gets it and wants her to spend time with her. Shasha argues that she doesn’t need her love that much, having lived alone for so long, she doesn’t feel like she’s missing anything. Gorya argues she’s her mother, but Shasha claims that anyone can be a mother if they give birth to a child. Gorya doesn’t want to cause her a problem, but Shasha doesn’t see her that way and she’s now happy – with her. But Gorya claims that family is still important, and she should give it a try. Maybe, her mother will understand her. But Shasha claims not everyone is looking for love form their family. She takes her hand as she claims that sometimes, a friend or a girlfriend can fill the void. She asks Gorya to go public with their relationship, but Gorya claims her mother will never let them do that. Shasha wants to know if she told her that, and Gorya nods. Shasha claims her mother can’t stop them if Gorya wants to do it, she wants people to know about their relationship, but will respect her decision. And Gorya claims why wouldn’t want her to show her off. So, they are making a number of photos, and Shasha posts them on her IG. Min gets a phone call from someone who is trying to reach Prim, and she tells the caller that she no longer works for Prim and refers him directly to her. Praew wants her to talk things over with Min, but Min claims it’s useless and wants her to support her. But Praew argues that she supports them both, but Min argues that right now, she needs a girlfriend who supports her, not a girlfriend who puts her down. Praew tells her that if she wants to vent or has something to say, she can do it. She’s her to listen to her. And Min claims that all she needs to do is nod and agree with everything she says. And she agrees even though she disagrees and will tell her later, she promises. But Min doesn’t want to complain about Prim anymore and instead cuddles Praew. Meanwhile, Bambi and Prim are celebrating her nomination after only a few years of working, and Prim argues it’s just a nomination and she hasn’t won yet. But Bambi claims that she’s the only woman getting nominated. Prim wants to know if she has a reward for her, and steals a few kisses from her, than claims that it’s a bigger reward than the award. Bambi knows what she’s going to give her… …and she’s taking her to meet someone important, whom she wants to talk to. Prim guesses it’s the director on “Lady Bird” (the movie, I assume – so that would be Greta Gerwig) – but Bambi takes her to meet Min, and argues the person she should share the success with is not her, but Min. They sit silently opposite each other for a while, they Prim asks Min if Bambi forced her to come, and Min denies it, but claims that she told her she was crying and whining that she couldn’t live without her. Prim denies that she shed any tears, but she also isn’t doing fine and doesn’t need Min, claiming she hasn’t even given any answers to the client yet, and arguing that her schedule is chaotic. And she admits she’s not as good at negotiating prices as her, and doesn’t know how to pay taxes. Now, she claims to know how important she is to her, and admit that she overlooked the people around her. And she claims that Min is behind her success, without her, she wouldn’t have gotten to where she is that day. And Min claims she still remembers the first day that they talked about opening a company together, and argues they were looked down on by male directors and producers, they told them to get them coffee. She states that this was the reasons they wanted to open a company for women. Prim argues that that day, she received a nomination, and Min’s name should be included. Min argues she can do it by herself, but Prim claims that no one can achieve success by themselves, if she didn’t have a friend like her, her life would have fallen apart long ago. And Min holds her hand and claims she now understands her decision about Bambi, and she gets why she doesn’t want to lose her. And she promises to help her balance her work and her love life. Prim lies that she isn’t crying and it’s hay fever. Bambi is watching all of this from the outside, thinking about something. Shasha’s mother runs enraged to Gorya at the gym, and wants to know if she told her daughter to post photos of them both, reminding her that she told her to keep their relationship a secret. But Gorya claims that is was all Shasha’s idea. Shasha’s mother wants to know why she didn’t stop her; doesn’t she worry about her future, and what kind of girlfriend she it. She tells her Gorya should know how things are in this business, or does she want to be famous or expand her network? She hears she has a clothing brand, and it would help her sales to date a model, would it not? Gorya wants to know why she is looking down or her like this, having never asked anything of Shasha, and argues she can make a living on her own. She has never asked anyone for money, and never wanted to be famous. But Shasha’s mother warns her not to let this happen again, and argues that if she still wants to be her girlfriend, she needs to think about her future – now, it’s time to make money, and love is not as important as money. Bambi tells her mother that she wants to go back to New York, arguing that maybe she will be happy when she lives in a new place where she can’t cause problems for the people she loves. But her mother wants her to stop feeling responsible for other people’s feelings, and argues it’s not her job to make them happy. But Bambi claims to choose for herself this time, and that she’ll live there permanently. Her mother tells her if moving there make her happy, then do it, and she will support her. But she wants her to make this decision for herself, not just to make others happy. And she takes her daughter in her arm as Bambi cries. Later, she meets Prim at the “Fiona” warehouse, claiming she came as fast as she could, then thinks she is acting strange as Bambi is trying to find the courage to talk to her. She tells her she is moving to New York, and Prim misunderstands that she is going the for work and wants to visit. But Bambi is going to moving to New York to live there permanently. Min isn’t sure what she means, but Bambi doesn’t want to be her burden anymore, and doesn’t want her to choose between her and her work. She doesn’t want her to choose her over other things. Prim claims that everything has worked out and what is she worried about? But Bambi argues it will happen again. Prim argues that it won’t because they are now more mature and learned from their mistakes, But Bambi argues that it’s useless for them to keep trying, arguing that she almost lost her best friend because of her. She doesn’t want them to feel that away again. Prim offers to move to New York with her, but Bambi argues that she should move there for her own goals, not for her. Prim argues about the last wish on her bucket list – to travel the world with her – but Bambi argues that if she stays she might ruin the first four item on her bucket list. She argues that they have to accept they were never meant to work out, and that they have to choose. Prim choose Bambi, she claims – but Bambi chooses herself. Bambi wants her to leave, and Prim pleads with her to rethink this arguing her life is miserable without Bambi. But Bambi pushes her away, claiming she want to be alone. Prim leaves devastated, as Bambi breaks down crying. And that’s where the cursed episode 11 ends. _____ This was the shortest episode of “Girl Rules” to date, and pretty much delivered as expected, though I thought the show might break more than one couple up before the finale. The episode reconciled Min and Prim, and Praew/Min and Gorya/Shasha seem to be fine, though the latter couple still has to deal with a money-hungry mother. I expect that in the finale, this will happen, and Min will come out to her family, but for Bambi and Prim, all bets are off. I think they need time apart, and at this point I would argue that Bambi made the right decision to break up with her because Prim isn’t thinking too much about her and puts everything, even herself, lower than her. But if the finale will employ a time jump are other device to reunite them, or leave them apart by series end, I honestly don’t know. But we shall see the next Monday.
