Temporal Culture War Episode 25: All T'Pologies

In preparation for next week's episode, I invite you to watch the AP News story from Dec 18, 2001, which features Afghan & US soldiers playing "buzkashi", a kind of polo played with the carcass of a calf. I am not joking. This has lived in my head rent-free for almost a quarter century, and when I first saw Desert Crossing years later, I was sure this had inspired the very sanitized game at the beginning. https://youtu.be/xbW-Kinp6v4?si=xo9JXtxvNPA-W1MZ
