Sailing into Sydney, Scared Silly on LIVE TV and Racing a Seawind Catamaran - Episode 119
Join us as we sail through the Sydney Heads, explore one of Sydney's beautiful coastal walking tracks and head under the iconic Harbour Bridge for a special (but highly nerve wracking!) TV appearance and to participate in a Seawind Catamaran race.
We never realised just how stunning Sydney was to visit by sailboat. Despite being as far as possible from the remote wilderness that we love, it comes highly recommended for a visit from us Free Rangers!
I cannot describe how incredibly nervous I was going on TV, I was really upset after the interview because I thought I had ruined our chance at exposure, however now looking back on the interview 3 months after the fact it doesn't seem nearly as bad as I thought it was at the time. It's actually pretty funny and we hope you find it funny too!
Please enjoy...
Pascale

I grew up right next to Balmoral but now live 8000+ miles away in the States. Thanks for doing such a great job of showcasing Sydney and congrats on all the success!
Glad to see you didn't "stuff it up"! LoL, y'all did great! And Troy wasn't bright red! 馃榿馃榿馃槑
Hi again, Troy and Pascale, I heard about your live TV appearance too late, so I'm so glad you included it in the video. You both came across very well. Enjoy Tassie, even if it's cold. Someone in Tassie told us: "If you don't like the weather, come back in 10 minutes." He was right, the sun came out 10 minutes later!
馃槀 Very very true words!
Sorry, what was it you did before going sailing full time? I didn't quite catch it 馃ぃ.

Thank you for this video, I've never been a fan of big cities, though the areas that you explored around Sydney was indeed very green! This is one reason why I follow you two, I would never have known that there was a Tram Brake wheel nor a running wheel in the rocks there, had you not shown us. I have never been on Live TV, though I have been around many Theatres, Film and TV Studios (Working with the Costume departments repairing equipment) when both nervous Guests and even the Big Stars and News Anchors have been about. I can assure you that the vast majority of them are a bumbling bag of nerves before and after their appearances on live TV, not so much for recordings. Somebody being there repairing a Steam Iron, Washing Machine or Tumble Dryer, even though they are commercial ones must seem to bring a touch of normality to the otherwise 'out of this world' experience that they are having because I have had many an interesting and insightful conversation with some very famous people indeed! It was strange seeing you (Pascale) with a mask of makeup on, and it took me a few seconds to realise that they had had to apply a Matte to your face to stop you reflecting the light with nervous perspiration. Troy was right though. The interview went well though, and your natural and down to earth personalities shone through.
Thanks so much Andy. I enjoyed reading your anecdote nice to be reassured that actors get nerves on live TV too. I don't normally sweat when I'm nervous but I do go bright red so I was happy for the heavily applied war paint!
Fantastic! The TV spot was well done. Your wonderful personalities came through beautifully. I enjoyed the sail into Sidney and the hike, Relatively wild spaces in big cities like that make for a wonderful contrast and escape. Absolute treasures!! .The sail on the Cat looked fun, and wonderful they were able to give you spot to get after your repairs.
We were very grateful for the hospitality of Multihull Central next week's episode covers one if the really important jobs we wanted to do while we were there. Sydney sure is stunning. Glad we could share a different view of the city wth you all.
Loved your show. I had a TV spot for two years so I know how nervous it can be. But you can get used to it.
Seems like you've worn many hats Jean. Perhaps your patron name should be Jean "du" Monde!
Denise and I love Australia and have really enjoyed our stays in Sydney. Beautiful city!!
It's hard to believe it's a city of over 5 million people! Such a beautiful spot.
You did wonderfully "on the air" Pascale! I've actually had a fair bit of experience in that situation, I've probably done a few dozen "guest spots" on the morning or midday news over the last 24 years and not many of mine were as flawless as your performance! Of course you had Troy as back up and I had a series of raptors, alligators, snakes and even a crocodile along with me ;-)
How cool! Any chance you've got a copy so we can watch you and your raptor and reptilian friends on air?
Thanks guys great vid glad you enjoyed Sydney .Great evening had by all I think
Yes that was certainly a boozy affair, it was really fantastic to meet you all despite the sore head the next morning!
Ha! Sheryl in my free range jumper. Forgot all about that.

We done with the interview, you complimented each other and it came across well.
Cheers Mike, it really wasn't as bad as I had replayed it over and over again in my head!
