Changing our Reefing System and No-Leak Deck Hardware Install - Episode 120

When I first got Mirrool, I wasn't too happy with the way that the mainsail was reefed. Rather than rushing into a change though, I sailed her through a few refits until I was happy with a plan to change things around. There is quite a bit of advice out there about how things should be done, but everyone who ventures upon the sea should have a fairly clear idea about what suits their particular strengths and weaknesses and take that into account when arranging their boat. 

After a short discussion along those lines, we go ahead and make some new holes in Mirrool and talk about how we bed our hardware in a way to keep the sea on the outside of the boat where she belongs.
