Making a Silver Sequin Gown
I'll be honest - I'm not usually very proud of my patreon exclusive videos...but i'm proud of this one! It is basically a whole 30+ minute long making of video, with a small twist.
I didn't script the voice over ahead of time, and I speeded up the footage opposed to editing it down. The end result was much faster than my typical methods (maybe 8 hours of processing time, opposed to 30+), allowing me to FINALLY find the motivation to get this content out there!
I feel like after a few months pass without me processing footage, that video is basically dead and never sees the light of day. So the fact I took some footage from late last year and turned it into something watchable makes me happy.
If this goes over well, I definitely have other abandoned making of videos that could get the same treatment. So let me know your thoughts, and I hope you enjoy seeing how I made this silver sequin gown! Even if it isn't very seasonally relevant.
(I wish it was seasonally relevant, it is going to be 91 degrees tomorrow, UGH)
Speaking of tomorrow, I'll be back with another video then to cap off the month.
Thanks for the support and I'll talk to you then! :D

I really enjoyed this style of video. I would hate to miss all the hard work you put into these so any style , and a variety best of all, would be great. Thanks again.
I really enjoyed this video! Really informative and great to listen too. I'd love to see more!
Ah, Angela, I loved the video! I find we're more critical of ourselves than we'd be about anyone else. So enjoyable! Thank you!
Enjoyed the video, hope to see more like. And the dress is stunning!
Gorgeous dress! This was a great video style because I’m always looking forward to your content, truly anything you put out
Yes. Thank you. I would love to see anything partly filmed from your back log.
I enjoyed this style as well. I think this style of video would not do well on Youtube but here as an exclusive Patreon video, it would give up a great opportunity to see into your other projects (regardless if sucessful or not) which would make for a really exclusive content :)
This style is awesome, and we still get your wonderful self narrating! If you've forgotten what happened its okay too! 😋 if it's easier for you, we're all big fans
I think this video style is excellent, and If it makes it easier for you to produce videos... Please do it! I am here to see you make pretty dresses that I would never make or wear - I'm still very much a beginner.
Without having watched the video yet (this weekend is catch-up) that dress is dreamy.
I really like the stream of consciousness narration and listening to you chat, and I’m so happy we got to see the making of this dress. It’s so stunning, I have to make something similar now
I liked this video! It didn't feel rambly or confusing, it was still fun to watch and informative. And honestly knowing that this was easier for you to make and helped you get the motivation to do it made the format even better to me
I like this new style of video. I hope to see some more of the 25 never posted projects. I got my fingers crossed for the pyjamas and that one red and yellow simplicity dress with the cape😍😍
A light, floofy, short-sleeved dress that sparkles in the sunlight is seasonally appropriate enough for me.
oddly enough i see this a a mermaid dress
The dress is beautiful and you look wonderful in it. I love this style of video even when the footage is out of order, something about that makes it more relatable. I think my brain does everything out of order. Also watching your sped up sewing machine and hand sewing is hypnotic. One question: What size needle are you hand basting with? It looks huge.
I’d love to see more of this style of video. I really enjoyed this and easily followed along. This dress is so gorgeous and you nailed it with the fit. Thank you for sharing this with us. Sending best wishes from Down Under ❤️❤️🌺💐🌸🇦🇺😎
I like this style of video - it may be not that useful for someone who does not sew, but if you have some sewing experience it just works and I thought that the parts where the footage was out of order added appropriate amount of levity to whole video, without being disruptive (that was in part thanks to great commentary).
i think the video works really well, and i hope to see more videos like it! i'm happy you found something that works well and is low-stress!
I think this style of video is great!
I really liked this style of video. :-)
loved this! absolutely didn’t mind stream of consciousness vo and sped up video. especially if it means more angie content + happier angie overall 💕
This was fantastic! If it's something where we get more content and you don't feel nearly as much pressure it's a big win win! I love watching your videos and always wish I had more to see but I also understand how much effort and time you put into each one. Please do more of them! Also this dress is soo pretty! I also have green hair and usually do gold as my metallic but seeing how fantastic it looks with silver I will try some new things :)))
Love the dress. I like the style of this video and if it easier for you and we get to see more of your creativity then go for it! Thank you 😊
I think this a viable way to share with us as you take a little bit of a pressure break. I think most of are here for the chatty update/share type video. The dress is super cute and sparkly too. 🌈🌈🦋🦋
Love how the shape/fit of this dress turned out! And for patreon videos I'm sure nobody will mind the more casual/sped up style, especially if it's easier on you to make!
Absolutely loved this video. Please use this style as often as you want, especially if it makes editing easier. I’m here for the sewing and your cheery voice. Speeding up the video to fit the time allotted worked great.
The dress turned out beautiful. I like the idea of you catching us up with projects you’ve completed but didn’t release a video.
I'd love to see more videos in this style!
