I made a custom Ms. Fizzle Dress (it has dogs on it)
I’m trying really hard to meet my deadlines this month, but May has been ROUGH. So we’ll see what happens. But one deadline I know I missed, is getting this video up by Sunday.
I has dozens of hours of footage for this project, since the painting was SO time consuming. The rough cut was over an hour long, and by the time I had it ‘finished’, I decided I wasn’t happy with the worn photos and wanted to retake them. That hasn’t happened, since we have gotten a heap of rain.
But after a week of focusing nonstop on this video, I wanted to share it! So this is early access to version that is 98% complete. I still have to take, edit, and include worn photos. I also have to film my final thoughts and include pattern credits for the previous month. And I forgot to delete some of my VO notes, so uh, those won’t be in the final version.
If you’d like to wait to see the final cut, I might have that up for the end of this month? Or definitely by NEXT Sunday. But if you’d like to see how I made this project, all that content is there.
It isn’t quite what I’d hoped to put out, but it’s something. And I hope some of you will enjoy it!

This is one of my favorite videos, and one of my favorite dresses. I'm with you. Our dogs add so much to our lives. They're such a gift from God. I've always thought it wonderful that our dogs so love to be stroked and petted, and doing so is so wonderful for our mental and emotional health.

Guin! I’m not at all a dog person, in fact I don’t usually like dogs, but I grew to love her through your videos. It sometimes makes me sad to go back and watch videos with her in them. 💗
I loved Ms Frizzle's dresses. I introduced it to my kids when Netflix had it on. They loved it too. I've been rewatching older videos with Guen in them and hearing you talk about her last few days made me cry. Saying goodbye to a fur-baby is always the hardest. Ouch, looks like a nice iron burn on your finger too. Hope June brings you sunnier days xxxxx

In a previous video, one of your dogs was having incontinence issues. It was understandably stressing you out badly. Then the problem was never mentioned again. Did things clear up?
