Important ! Translator Information: My Dietary Life 🌍🍽️

I wanted to share some important information for anyone who would like to translate My Dietary Life.

Most of the mod can be translated using the normal translation process. However, there is one feature that works a little differently.

The Dietary Panel

Dietary Life includes a custom Dietary Panel feature. This is the in-game UI panel that shows your Sim's full dietary profile (preferences, lifestyle, restrictions, all of it in one place).

This panel isn't built using normal STBL strings. I created it as a set of 36 custom images in Canva, which means the text inside the panel is baked directly into the images and can't be translated through the usual STBL workflow you're used to.

Translating the Dietary Panel is OPTIONAL

You do NOT have to translate the panel to release a translation of Dietary Life. The rest of the mod (buffs, interactions, traits, notifications, descriptions, all the normal stuff) translates through the standard STBL process exactly like my other mods.

If you choose to leave the panel in English, your translation will still be fully functional and incredibly valuable to players. So please don't feel any pressure on this part!

If You DO Want to Translate the Dietary Panel

What translators need to do

1. Download this Google Sheet(https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1ZAuxS3tlncav99-ZbCmsnzAcR6nIqTUpF16kSOyGeSs/edit?usp=sharing). It contains every piece of text that appears across the 36 panel images.

2. Translate the text in the sheet into your language.

3. Send the completed sheet back to me via Kemzimalimited@gmail.com

4. I'll then go into Canva and recreate all 36 images with your translated text.

5. I'll send you the finished translated panel package back so you can bundle it with your translation release.

I'm handling the Canva side personally because the images need to match the existing layout, fonts, colors, and styling AND THEN i have to make sure the images are added into the sims4studios as DDS images NOT DST images. So that part of the workflow is on me, not you. All you need to do is the translation itself.

Important Note for Players

Because the translated panel is a separate set of image files, players who want to use the translated version will need to add a separate package to their mods folder alongside the main translation package. It's an easy setup, just two files instead of one. Here's what that looks like:
