My Dietary Life Update V4 - Community Requested Additions
A new Early Access update for My Dietary Life is now available, which includes additions that you guys have asked for 😊
🍽️ CC FOOD INTEGRATION
My Dietary Life is now integrated with the following CC creators custom foods and drinks:
All classifications are based on the latest all-in-one folder releases from each creator. If a food has not made it into their folder yet but is significant to gameplay, let me know and I will add it on an ad hoc basis.
General FYI - Recipes are categorized across all modules using the in-game recipe ingredients plus real world logic for that dish. i am confident in about 90% of the recipe accuracy BUT I have also gone through 6,000 to 10,000 EA and CC recipes to integrate into this mod (yes I just counted😅) so human error is guaranteed. If you spot a recipe categorisation you don't agree with please flag it and i will correct it.
There are a few other creators I cannot add yet simply because they do not have all-in-one folders, which makes integration 10 times longer(and it is already pretty long).
I am still trying to reach out to those creators directly to find a workaround!
💊 Core Medication Kit
For players who do not use adeepindigo Healthcare Redux, I have removed the dependency by adding a few simple medication objects that can be ordered from the computer (i still recommend having HCR as a gameplay booster though) :
ScratchNoMore Cooling Gel
Toilet Truce Tablets — Stomach relief tablet for nausea, vomiting, and diarrhea following a food reaction
MealGuard Enzyme Capsules — Enzyme supplements for Sims with gluten or lactose sensitivities to be taken before eating food with potential restricted ingredients.
NapTrap Allergy Tablets — An antihistamine for mild to moderate allergy symptoms (not applicable for celiac disease or lactose intolerant)
Medications will also no longer instantly relieve allergy symptoms. Symptoms will now gradually decrease over time, and some medications can take up to an hour before they start taking full effect.
Longer term I am planning a shared medication kit that will work across all of my mods. This is not a healthcare feature , it just makes sense to consolidate all the medication objects i keep creating also there are medications that are going to be needed for upcoming features across three of my mods, including one new mod dropping next month.👀

Hi! First, I want to congratulate you on the great work you've done with this mod. Second, I’d like to ask how Sims acquire allergies, since none of mine have developed any kind of allergy in the game. Thanks again for your work.
Thank you !! You can manually assign an allergy through the settings menu.. click your sim, click on the actions menu then click dietary life settings
Great Mod. I have adeepindigo's healthcare mod and I'm not able to go to the immunologist. I tried downloading both mods again and restarting my game and the option to travel via cellphone is not popping up. Any suggestions?
The option isnt in the phone menu when you have adeepindigos hcr mod downloaded ....its in the HCR book appointment menu
Hi, I love this mod, the only thing that doesn't work for me is seting favorite recipe. I get the option on the food but when I click on it and then after the interaction went through I go check the dietary profile of the sim and there is nothing set as favorite food. I am not sure if it is some kind of conflict with something but i don't think my game flagged any with this mod. Please don't ask me to come to discord, I can't do discord it is very overwhelming and messy for me to navigate through. It is okay if you have no idea what could be causing it, I assume no one else has this issue since I didn't see anyone mentioning this. I thought I would ask but it is not a big deal. It is just weird that everything else in the mod works for me, even favorite drinks.
For some reason my sims can't take any medicine from their inventory. Though bubble comes up and sims wave their hand the same way when they can't walk through something. Do you know why this is happening? I don't have hcr btw.

if i can make a request of a few food creators who i believe have one in done folders: xiaofuuu (i know they recently had ingredients added that have sesame peanuts and seafood which people have allergies to!) peach's world (same thing as xiaofuuu! i just want to see more chinese cuisine getting out there!) but regardless i am SO excited for this mod. i have plans formulating and i'm going to have a blast with it for sure!

I love this and cant wait to play it! One idea for the future.. GLP-1s. Maybe they have to go to a rabbit hole appointment or a phone consultation and it’ll slow down their hunger motive.
