Mod Updates (Aug 28th)

Hello again!

I have more updates to share.

Certain Wants (Whims) tied to the different socialization categories now directly influence whether a Sim chooses to perform interactions from that category. For example, a Sim with a Want to flirt will be more inclined to flirt than one without it. All 1,500+ in-game Wants have been carefully combed through, along with MissyHissy’s custom Wants from both The Custom Wants Mod and The Hopes and Fears Mod. (Thanks MissyHissy for your help!)
Fears were already incorporated into Deeper Social Autonomy, and that remains unchanged.

Romance Success Tweaks

Wants and Fears now provide a subtle influence on success scoring.
Hygiene checks have been overhauled and expanded to better reflect Sims’ preferences, traits, and turn-ons. For instance, some Sims like poor hygiene. Now your Sim will no longer be penalized for having poor hygiene when interacting with those Sims.
Poor hygiene will now reduce the chances of success with physical romantic interactions more than it does with non-physical ones (for Sims who dislike poor hygiene).
Several existing tests have also been deepened and restructured.

This update to Romance Success Tweaks is a preliminary step in what will either be an ongoing series of updates or one larger eventual update. My original goal for the mod was to add more sense to how Sims in committed relationships react to being romanced, but I now want to broaden the scope and add in additional tests for specific social dynamics that EA overlooked.
