I’m not a huge anime person myself but I’ve watched this through and it is one of the best works of fictions I’ve ever seen on so many levels. It’s refreshing to see someone not just enjoy the (phenomenal) music but engage with it meaningfully, as well, while watching. Attack on Tuesday! ❤️‍🔥 As part of the AOT fandom, I feel like my job is not to ruin the experience for people who are watching it for the first time with my knowledge, but just to enjoy it together and relive this first watch together 😌 As for small plot details or answers to questions, there’s an amazing community here that knows just as much as I do and usually replies faster… so to avoid repeating the same things, I just like everything I agree with and share my emotions 😌 Thanks once again ❤️ upd: That dialogue between Levi and Eren did actually happen while they were riding, but it was presented to us in a way that kept us from being distracted by anything else. This conversation about choice is one of the ideas that stayed with me from the very first watch. I always try to think through and evaluate many options before making a decision, yet the truth is that we can never know for sure what will happen or which decision will turn out to be truly right until we actually make it. So all that remains is to choose the option that seems the most correct at the moment and not regret that choice afterward, but instead keep moving forward and make other decisions. This is one of the ideas that influenced me, and I believe everyone who watches this anime should definitely hear it 😌

Btw, the girl with the orange hair and hazel eyes is Petra Rall, one of the Levi squad bad-asses (10 solo Titan kills, 48 assists.) She and the other two soldiers in the chase were introduced briefly in Episode 15 at the 4:00 mark. It's not surprising that you wouldn't remember, this is the kind of detail you only pick up with multiple watches - AoT has a lot of characters and it's nearly impossible to remember them all.

I just couldn't wait to find out what happens next so I went and watched ahead of you, I'm almost finished with the whole series and WOW is there so much good stuff ahead!! I'm going to enjoy rewatching it with you and seeing all the little details you miss the first go around when you don't know where things are heading. And just on a language side note, its impressive just how many Japanese phrases I picked up without even trying just by watching this subbed. Brains are cool.

To answer some questions: Eren did bite his hand to transform when he stopped the cannonball in episode 9, but he doesn't remember why he knows that's the trigger. The kind of nonlinear storytelling seen in this episode is done a lot in AoT, sometimes its to avoid spoiling certain plot points, but this time it's kind of just for thematic reasons. Also, Japanese has a lot of loanwords from English, similar to how English sometimes just takes words from other languages, so I guess "teaspoon" is one of those.

Eren kinda always knew that he needed to hurt himself to activate the power it was his instinct like when he protected Mikasa and Armin from the canon fire, but your right even Eden was confused as to why he knew how to activate it

There was an episode where the survey core asked Eren "how do you transform?", Then Eren told them about the biting himself. He then had a thought about how did he know how to do it when he was shot by the canons. Implying that he had this knowledge as an instinct or something after the first transformation.

Typically, people tend to react to the opening and ending music videos after the seasons or for the seasons with more than one. They react to the old one when we get a new music video. However, not every single Attack on Titan opening has spoilers. I imagine we will tell you ahead of time if you can watch the next music video or not.
