Wishing you would do reactions to BTS more. Just like SB19 (not to compare), they have very interesting music and production is bomb! Idol, Fire and Mic drop are among ng favorites. Louder than bombs is a good slow one too. They have a Tiny Desk Concert on youtube that will give the raw vocals you will enjoy. https://youtu.be/gFYAXsa7pe8?si=y37O5SDHldEtYiLn Hope to hear more of them! Thanks!

I also think you would like JungKook’s Standing Next to You. His iHeart radio live performance of a few solo songs includes that one and Hate You, another one that highlights his vocal prowess.

In addition to some of the recs above (Film Out live, The Truth Untold live, Outro: Tear live, Festa medley), Proof live medley is also great: https://www.youtube.com/live/9sJ_I1lHpps?si=s5U67Lm12wMHe6Az

AAHHH this was such a fun reaction! Thank you for taking my suggestion ON (my first one! and yes, pun intended lol) and I'm so glad you enjoyed it. I've really only started dipping my toes into BTS but I'm enjoying them so much already. I had to laugh because every time you got wow'ed about something I kept thinking "but wait, there's more!" lol. I watched another reaction video to this one by a dancer/choreographer from STEEZY and his video editor friend and it was so cool to get their perspective too about how wild this song/video is in so many different ways- you made a comment about how neat the editing was in the change up/dance break section and the video editor talked as well about how effective the filming distance and angles and overall editing was there so I thought it was neat that you noticed it too, even though it's not a vocal/music thing. I'm so glad others have suggested some live/raw vocal performances as well because now I'm really curious to dig into that too!

For less production. their MTV Unplugged series would be good. They also have beautiful Japanese tracks with live performances like: Film Out Your Eyes Tell

I need to go back and see what you have seen. Always recommends live or concert performance. They just give it their all and the vocal choices and live band remixes are phenomenal.

BTS' song Let Me Know live is great! https://youtu.be/rf8Jqfc7Ip8?si=4Gmp8Uov3ulqL18_ It's an older song (2014), only a year after their debut but it would be cool to see your reaction to this and then maybe a more recent song that they've done live.

You should check out their live performance of this in grand central station. They brought the 100 dancers with them. https://youtu.be/MZh-w2nysuI?si=pKACVBZcdHdpTHi5

WOW! That was fantastic, thank you so much for sharing this. Just like the MV, I feel like I could watch this 20 times and notice something new every time, I've already watched the MV probably 7 or 8 times but this one really highlighted some different things, too!

I LOVED it when you started playing along on the keys. Such a cool bit.

Loved this!! A favourite of mine for performance is the BTS Room Live for their 2021 Festa https://youtu.be/RRhjdYsNwAk?si=51WPkohs5C3T2j7k It’s a 10-minute small-scale performance they did a bit similar to a Killing Voice, but as a medley with one song from each of their albums at the time. You get to see how they harmonize and play off each other in a live, pretty casual setting, and it’s a taste of how chaotic they can be on stage lol. I feel like every member gets the chance to showcase their vocal/rap style a fair amount too. It’s super fun, and interesting to see how their tracks have evolved over time! (this in this month’s and last month’s recommendation post as well for any other army who’d like to see it too).

The problem with raw vocals for BTS is that each member has such a unique style that they can’t all be showcased in one song. And the three rappers don’t sing, like at all really except for J-Hope sometimes doing harmonies. So you’ll have to split things up either by vocal line and rap line, or solo songs. I’ll give a couple suggestions for each. Vocal line (Jin, Jimin, V, Jungkook) Zero O’clock The Truth Untold Rap line (RM, Suga, J-Hope) Tear UGH Jin Epiphany The Astronaut RM Intro: Persona Moonchild Suga (so hard to choose for this one) Daechwita Interlude: Shadow J-Hope Outro: Ego Neuron Jimin Serendipity Like Crazy V Inner Child Slow Dancing Jungkook My Time Standing Next to You If you find the time, there’s a recording of their Yet To Come concert on Amazon. Turn on subtitles and it includes all lyric translations as well

Map of the Soul 7 would have been such an epic concert. Unfortunately COVID happened and it got canceled. They did a live performance of ON on Jimmy Fallon at Grand Central Station which was really cool. https://youtu.be/MZh-w2nysuI?si=vHTV3_TgJVDENEto ON is a reflection of N.O. one of their early songs. https://youtu.be/mmgxPLLLyVo?si=dvs0f3U9TKNPfaeN N.O. Was about the stress and pressures teenagers are under with school and societal expectations for what will bring happiness. In ON, that pressure instead now comes from themselves. Their success has brought hardship, but they chose this path and they’ll keep fighting. It’s a theme that is prevalent throughout the whole album inspired by Carl Jung philosophy. The only other song I can immediately think of that can match the amount of energy and hype of ON that you haven’t already reacted to would be Dionysus. Getting drunk on art and the creative process itself. https://youtu.be/lFMXk0L4kG8?si=Aafhkis-vs_OZML- The actual performance starts at the 3 minute mark, there’s an intro since this was from an awards show
