K-POP SONG REQUEST POST JANUARY 2026
Hey all!
I've excited to keep our K-POP adventures continuing into 2026! We are going back to having just one post for K-POP song requests again and I included below in this post a link to all k-pop songs I've done on PATREON and Youtube.
👀 I SEE YOU (Persistent K-Pop Requests I'm Getting To!)
Some of you have been putting in WORK requesting the same songs for months. I see you, and these are coming soon. No need to re-request these:
ATEEZ Killing Voice — Bennett, I see you (and yes to that intro you offered!)
ENHYPEN Killing Voice — Kay, it's coming
Stray Kids "Thunderous" + "Cheese" — Sophie, your all-time faves are locked in
Stray Kids "ESCAPE" — Savallion, you've been asking since October, I got you
Seungmin's SONG by covers — Kagari, three months of patience is about to pay off
Dreamcatcher — Metalstryke, finally checking out that rock-influenced K-Pop!
You don't need to heart these again — they're locked in. 🔒
📝 HOW TO REQUEST (Same Rules, Fresh Year!)
1. BE SUPER RESPECTFUL OF EACH OTHER 🙏 This is all about celebrating artists.
2. LINKS: Leave a comment with the YouTube link.
3. ❤️ EACH OTHERS' COMMENTS: This is everything! There are SO many recommendations that I can't get to all of them. Heart the ones you want to see! PRO TIP: Find your fellow fans on Discord and coordinate — Patreon doesn't let you message each other directly.
4. SHOUTOUTS! I'll give you a shoutout in the intro if I pick your comment. If your request is getting lots of hearts, feel free to add a few words about the artist that I can read on your behalf. (Don't want a shoutout? Just say so!)
5. HOW LONG SHOULD IT BE? (optional) Let me know if you're thinking:
QUICK TAKE (5-7 min) — $5 tier
SONG ANALYSIS (15-30 min) — $5 tier
DEEP DIVE (30+ min) — $10 tier

ATEEZ BY. HONGJOONG - Beat It (Original. Michael Jackson) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6G6c9xs6nEE So You - Jongho (ATEEZ) [Immortal Songs 2] https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dyWNvMxaSIk Immortal Songs is a South Korean singing competition program. And in the video I linked Jongho was sick, but it is such a beautiful performance. Ateez as a group (linked is Solo Performance) has performed on Immortal Songs 6 times, and they won 4 of those times. [Special Clip] ATEEZ(에이티즈) 산 '이하이 - 한숨' (SANs cover of the song Breathe by Lee Hi) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6wyM0yuK5dM There is much more I wanna recommend, but I'll stop here for now!
Welcome to the epic world of ATEEZ and its vast, cinematic lore! You asked why Yeosang is famed for his low notes in the ATEEZ killing voice and I’ll recommend HALAZIA by ATEEZ to answer that curiosity! I’d recommend a either the $5 tier for just the HALAZIA MV, or possibly a longer video if you take the opportunity to delve deeper into their fascinating storyline by also analyzing the HALAZIA prologue trailer and very short epilogue video that accompany thr HALAZIA MV and are the very self-contained/only glimpses of this particular dimension out of the eight ATEEZ and their alter egos travel to within their robust storyline (from pirates to an underground rebel group fighting to overthrow their dystopian government!). That said, ATEEZ also have a comeback (new album) dropping on February 6th, so you should definitely react to that too!
Is it too late to add a request for Jimin's (from BTS) solo work? I am requesting my favorit,e Jimin song which is Serendipity https://youtu.be/BEMaH9Sm3lQ?si=zXwX3S6uoAbvc3lV
a little late to request this but Apink’s Killing voice. it was from 2 years ago but hope you can react to it to celebrate their 15th year anniversary https://youtu.be/tJGunpmi2wo?si=fXJDwGppDbwTb3de
Kind of late in the month to be adding to the request post but I saw the Stray Kids Golden Disc Awards performance over the weekend and it blew me away (and not just because of the fanservice I swear) https://youtu.be/lsHQ5rONrZY?si=uoyL0rxSQDV7loWy I think these award shows are pretty picky about copyright so this would probably have to go Patreon-only but this performance has a lot of very interesting things going on: - DIVINE has some crazy jazzy instrumentation, unsure if it's live or added to the backing track but it sounds so good. It's also fun to see the DIVINE choreo since they don't do much of it in the MV - Do It (Turbo Version) is personally my favorite remix of Do It, and adds a lot of energy - CEREMONY (KARMA version) I had not heard this version until this performance but it is so good. I know Tim has expressed an appreciation for good dance beats and they go so hard on the dance breaks in this one. Stray Kids really turned the Golden Disc Awards into a dance party and I'm here for it 😂 I think a quick take would be perfect since Tim has heard these songs before, the vocals are not that different it's the remix/choreo that really stands out.
BTS “UGH” (Rap line - RM, Suga, j-hope) https://youtu.be/iTKhED25RPQ?si=wgi2X3nS95Esc_i7 Here’s one from the rap line too! The link is for the colour-coded lyric video
BTS “Film out” live @ MUSIC BLOOD https://youtu.be/nvbDUtrWSt0?si=CKCa6Lfy144993-g This performance is great for more raw vocals from the members - the harmonies are really gorgeous. It doesn’t have subtitles unfortunately, but I’ve linked a translation below! https://www.bangtansubs.com/film-out
Since you're getting into Dreamcatcher, I recommend you check out "VISION" by them!! https://youtu.be/jKrJBVLnRiM?si=RvJzAsH9F3bQJae1
It's live version https://youtu.be/2bLeQz_bxYs?si=WGOHlF6Au7IfF5IW Vision starts at the 5 min. mark.
I'd love if you reacted to more Ateez! I see you're going to do their Killing Voice performance, but I also recommend their debut song, "Pirate King"! It's super good! :] https://youtu.be/RqJ1rH9M5G0?si=g-8xz-64U8z1k4TF
Nmixx's appearance on Leemujin service is probably the best way to see their individual vocals. There's two parts (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YTGi4KMf0SY) and (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7n3Zy-rFlEg) of their full group appearance and then their are individual episodes for each of the members as well. But the best place to start would be their full ones.
Also would love more Ateez! Got to check out Bouncy, it's so interesting and drops into a really interesting pocket. https://youtu.be/U0G5OA6ZH5w?si=V8d1LVNPvBFJnnSP
Another great JYP group that debuted more recently is Kickflip. They are often called Bang Chan's (SKZ) little kids. Lol My favorite is Knock Knock - https://youtu.be/oSozapfclTI?si=_5WFMsqV9Xl0UlS3 Another mentioned before was Bandaid. Leaving the link here - https://youtu.be/6KksgSzEZvQ?si=C0jd6tJ81CWzLFch
I think I commented this in the wrong place, but I can't find it to delete it, sorry! HALAZIA by ATEEZ for YT to get more ATINY here would be great. Link: https://youtu.be/SszP3hlQ55Y?si=HBDCojS49jvw9gSG Also, thank you, Bennett, for putting in the work for their Killing Voice!
Wendy (Red Velvet) - "Fireproof" Song Analysis https://youtu.be/KJKDL8WwdkE?si=7OQZxu8n4H-A6xTX This is from Wendy's (Red Velvet) 3rd Solo Album "Cerulean Verge", and the song is a fun 80s pop rock kind of song. If you choose to react to this one and you wanted to do further analysis, I figured you'd enjoy one of the two videos below (your choice of which!): "Fireproof" (Live) Brooklyn, NY Performance https://youtu.be/zuk9Euh-O4k?si=83ELuHFQkElI_Ask This is a live recording from her solo tour. The band made new arrangements for all of her songs and they sound so good. It makes me want her to have a live band all of the time. I got to go to her Pasadena show and Wendy plus a live band is magical. -OR- "Cerulean Verge" BTS Recording Session https://youtu.be/faAUBhri8wc?si=aCi5m_dgDI4Li15I She's been releasing BTS recording session videos for "Cerulean Verge". This one is a combination of some of the songs (she has individual ones for the title tracks). I figured you'd enjoy watching her go through some of the recording process (chatting, feedback while recording, harmonies, and ad libs). "Fireproof" is covered from the start of the video till 6:45.
So I just wanted to put the idea of doing the Skz surivial Show as a new long form skz thing into here :) If we do it I would suggest to skip some stuff (for example in the second episode the first 25min are just them moving into their dorm and going to an arcade) and focus on the music parts. That would make I think 9 Episodes with probably about 20-30min each
If you do want to do it just let me know so I can give you some timestamps for the first Episode on what you can skip. Originaly its 50min long but there is a loooot of talking and filler stuff so I would guess the broken down version is probably not more then 20min
Ooh, I always love the Stray Kids reactions but I think Ateez Crazy Form or Ice on My Teeth music video would be fun! Also their Symphony No.9 Kingdom performance of WONDERLAND (great vocals) *https://youtu.be/9t57C7NcjWo?si=nshF5g1dXY_s7-QH (CRAZY FORM), *https://youtu.be/5OflOlcHLb8?si=ZnMC1Sx8bt7VCVqN (ICE ON MY TEETH), *https://youtu.be/-uDitNeFO-I?si=4pTYM4Fkc7YOddfg (WONDERLAND PERFORMANCE)
Would love to see the next part of alien stage! Black Sorrow is one of my favorites and his voice is *mwah* chef's kiss 🤌🏻
So if you are indeed open to doing more stray kids the new dominate tour would be great but what would be much more beneficial to you Is hearing there solo stuff Here is a link with all there solo song's from their album HOP (they recently released dvd versions so please excuse the google doc link) https://docs.google.com/document/d/1_eDew7Ji5TH_yHZu-yTJaWojeUYBRHzThDWjE38WmWs/edit And if you wanna make it like a 4 parter (first two parts the the originals the the 3rd and 4th part is the cover's by the other member's) You could do the extra one where they swap their songs (example, han has a song called "hold my hand" and instead felix cover's it and so on) Here is the link for that (fun fact they match their outfit's to the one they are covering lol) https://youtu.be/p7ZTSCL72ME?si=y1uPy3SxIFsWRirP
also i just went thru tis again and saw no one mentioning woodz again! I would love a deep dive in his music from you! One of my momentarily faves is a more recent song since he came back from his military service! it's called I'll never love again https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4V9isfZVjnI&list=RD4V9isfZVjnI&start_radio=1 there's also a live clip: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2LLoZ3QlSBg&list=RD2LLoZ3QlSBg&start_radio=1
Yes! A deepdive into Woodz would be lovely!
Hi Tim! Love your videos as always, your insights never fail to impress. I hope you’ll hear me out on something a little different that I think you’ll find fascinating. I’d love to request a deep dive on Contestant No. 59, Gwyn Dorado, from the Korean singing show Sing Again 4. She’s a 20-year old Filipino and often performs classic Korean pop ballads from the 1970s and early 1980s, reinterpreting them in a deeply personal and emotional way. Her approach feels both respectful to the originals and completely her own, which I think would make for a compelling analysis. Here’s the video that really showcases her artistry: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iB7cwDqHkmU&t=2s She also sang her original song here titled "On My Way". I do hope you can consider this. I truly think she’s a hidden gem worth exploring.
Exo's Chen - Last Scene. I heard it just today and even without reading the lyric translation, it almost made me cry. Just wanted to share the song. https://youtu.be/tUEraaV5inc?si=6SIoKalb8WhLhG7M Chen doesn't appear in the MV, it stars the South Korean actor Park Hae Soo (Prison Playbook, Squid Game, Money Heist: Korea)
I always like to listen to people listen to Kim Jong Kook for the first time. A Korean Vocalist who debuted in 1995 as a Duo called Turbo before he became a soloist in 2001 after Turbo disbanded in 2000. He was the second person to win the Daesang (Artist of the year) from all three major broadcasting stations. (SBS, KBS and MBC.) Link to his Killing Voice: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=w6GphHYhFjc
And I have wanted Tim to watch a Kim jong kook workout video before he watches jong kook sing!
I've been enjoying listening to more of BTS! I'd like to suggest a vocal analysis of 'ON' Kinetic Manifesto Film version. My sister shared this one with me over break and I loved it so much. Just tons going on, not just vocally but in terms of production, video editing, choreography and formations and all that. "So stimulating!" as you like to say about these kinds of songs lol. It makes my ADHD brain happy because there is just so much to notice and savor anew on every listen/watch. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gwMa6gpoE9I
I regret that I did not follow the instructions last time I posted. I am sorry about that. But here I am with my group request. I am genuinely interested in hearing your thoughts on the group, Forestella. I've included a "A helpful guide to Forestella 2024" as well as my favorite performance by them, and an original song. "A Helpful Guide to Forestella" - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FVMcD7ZDsiU They haven't done a Killing Voice that I am aware of so sadly I can't give a sampling of their songs. But here is one of their best performances from the Immortal Songs competition. "Bad Romance" (Cover) - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jKg7JdtPPaA Here is an original song by them, "Utopia" - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aT2mbsDQwlI
Yes! Forestella is still on the "to do" list!!
I love p1harmony hip hop vibes. Please check out Pretty Boy, Duh! and Sad Song by this amazing kpop group
Pretty Boy https://youtu.be/6DIvjvlMVhQ?si=kVRDL6ee9CUE4-WL
I already said this in the chat once but still ( I copy pasted it lol) i just watched the concert reaction and am absoluetly looking forward to watching part 3. I don't know if this is more of a selfish thing cos i feel like almost no one did it but I still think a lot of Stays would love it as well if you reacted to 2kidsshow/the performances on there. They performed a lot of duo songs or solo songs as a duett! these songs are not really on streamin platforms so they are Stays treasure since they barely ever are performed/ even mentioned. I would also love to see you react to the og songs first and then the performance! I'm just gonna mention one example and the og songs, this is seungmin and Han 1. Song: Volcano(Han) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SB6VJXA5cYw&list=RDSB6VJXA5cYw&start_radio=1 2.Song: Hold on(Seungmin: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=89fCmIOkL9o&list=RD89fCmIOkL9o&start_radio=1 3: both performed by them together: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=udpt9Xr_Xf8&list=RDudpt9Xr_Xf8&start_radio=1
STRAY KIDS - The Tortoise and the Hare (QuickTake) https://youtu.be/0RNL1oQrUYY?si=5bb6dw4dcFSeakOP This is truly one of their most experimental songs ever. It really wasnt written for commerical succsess but was more them having a good time producing something weird😂
Should I request again? I sent it in the chat cos I just couldn't not mention it!
Definatly put it in here aswell😊
New here but I really wanted to suggest Han's solo song Hold My Hand. It might be my favourite song ever and it showcases his versatility quite well.
Just adding the Link for you🤗 https://youtu.be/DzBB7izZnZk?si=UlCl9WRkd_Y887NZ
If you want some raw vocals and harmonies, I highly recommend checking out Zerobaseone’s Taerae Show. This is where ZB1’s main vocal and guitar player Taerae does completely raw live covers with each of the other members. You’ll really get to hear each member’s true voice and the style of song they enjoy, plus a little banter between the members. People say ZB1 are some of the best singers of the younger boy groups these days! Taerae Show, but only the songs: https://youtu.be/YGrbRIj32D8?si=cKez2NtcXsyJXo3c Full Taerae Show, with banter and subtitles: https://youtu.be/FJ2xUGeVeBU?si=UOhkQU-dIPrA5UHD
Taemin - Heaven (Live) You’ve done Key & Jonghyun…I think that Taemin’s greatest live performance to date might be great first thing to check out from him. after all, you’ve only seen him perform as a 14yo so far! https://youtu.be/0703u4fHgeI?si=F6yo0tYIxVOlNe2f
This is an incredible performance! Just a note about the video, if you are photosensitive (epilepsy, migraines, etc) there are strobe-like flashing lights at the end so be aware. They start at 4:59 so if you stop the video when Taemin finishes climbing the stairs and turns to stand facing the audience, you won't see the flashing at all.
Can’t wait for enhypen ❤️
I’d like to request a performance another ARMY, Pearl, recommended in December’s post: BTS Festa 2021! https://youtu.be/RRhjdYsNwAk?si=sD6El2Z2uQf1FA_m I watched it again after seeing the rec last month and I forgot how fun it is!! The room setup is very cool and really gives them a chance to move around and play off one another. Here’s the original description Pearl used since it was a great summary: “This isn't a single song but a medley. One song from each of their albums up until that point. I think it's one of their best small scale performances EVER, you get to hear more of just how many different genres they dabble in and its just sooooo fun. You'll definitely get to know them better.”
I suggested this during Killing Voice Post, but I would love to see you do a Deep Dive on TVXQ! Killing Voice. https://youtu.be/i7GYq_JazwQ?si=csAgfh5e1zVMBUb_ They’re a second generation KPOP group that was once five member, but now two member group. Although they are considered “old” in the industry, but I think it would be a nice watch to see you react “veteran” KPOP idols. They also did a cover of Red Velvet’s “Psycho” https://youtu.be/0AiwMULBY-c?si=U2d1YRLWx3j9EuIu
I love their "Psycho" cover!
Hi there! I’d like to recommend Seventeen’s Killing Voice: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8ca0xEJH9wY&list=RD8ca0xEJH9wY If you want to know a bit more about the group’s background, I think this video is a good introduction: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=griy5UcePPU There’s a spoiler of the Killing Voice between 4:14 and 7:30 if you want to skip it to keep the song list a surprise. (there is 3 really really good videos that follow this one to introduce the members but each of them is 40min long) So if you’d like a more detailed introduction to the members (there are 13 of them!), this one is pretty good too, even if it includes a bit of info you might not really need. and it's not that long https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OkegkRY7Ogc
I figure it’ll take longer for him to get to Seventeen, but I’m planning to make an intro video for them after ATEEZ & probably Enhypen (& maybe TXT).
Recommending Rain’s song Switch To Me featuring JYP. JYP is now known as the founder of the entertainment agency who is part of the big 4 with artists such as stray kids, nmixx, twice, but before founding the agency JYP was first a singer. Rain was JYP’s first successful solo artist who debuted in 2002. This song was released in 2020 as part of Rain’s comeback. https://youtu.be/-Bf_BB9iTNI?si=P-cYh5JCzqDjVqbS
I love this song. Having grown up in the 90's, it's giving nostalgia!
Straykids - LALALALA (Song Analysis) https://youtu.be/dBDkYofMUs4?si=MSPbXbtC9LI0hvf7
Oooh yes please! Love this one! And the choreo for it is amazing too.
I.N (Skz) - Hallucination (QuickTake or Song Analysis) https://youtu.be/n5B5q1Hwt_U?si=orF5bWqAbBt8pgIL This is I.Ns Solo Track from Hop (they all had a Solo Song on that Album). The song was written by Changbin and he originaly intended to use it as his own solo. But then I.N loved it so much that Changbin gave it to him😆 I think its a great one bc its fits I.Ns voice so well. Im fine with this beeing a quick take especially if it means that we might have the chance to look at some of the other Solos aswell🤗
YB + Seungmin So Seungmin just did a collab performance with YB. YB is a legendary K-Rock Band that has been active for 30 years now. The first Song is just YB and then Seungmin joined for the second one. https://youtu.be/0hIjJLWzkVk?si=0uXr6i824qU0qI1-
Quick Take - Skz Chk Chk Boom (Its live Band) I know we allready did Chk Chk Boom but I really love the performance they did for this show so I thought it might be a good quick take😆 https://youtu.be/2rYBB2IjNaw?si=butIuIp3wB77jdyJ
There are a lot of songs in the thread already that I would have requested myself but since we're covered on ESCAPE I'm going to recommend another favorite of mine: Stray Kids - VENOM https://youtu.be/pM-jOfy_1jM?si=8-xeZLdjrC9UJpXM From the ODDINARY album, it's dark and a little sexy and they use a lot of WEIRD SOUNDS. The drop in this song is one of my favorites, so satisfying. There are spiders in the video (the korean name of the song translates to Spiderweb, I believe), but they are robotic spiders, not real ones. I haven't seen anyone have a problem with the spiders in this video but I wanted to mention it just in case. This could be a quick one or a song analysis I'm not picky!
Venom is so good! I think taking a look at the 2022 MAMA performace might also be cool at some point
https://youtu.be/I1Pcj3CHun8?si=TEceWSkEs6co0CEW Once again suggesting Louder Than Bombs by BTS. Beautiful harmonies with a highly emotional message
If there's not enough time for a Red Velvet deep dive, here's a Quick Take or Song Analysis you could try out: Red Velvet - Cosmic Their latest release as a group (ever since Yeri and Wendy left SM, they've all been doing more subunit/solo stuff. Yeri and Wendy are still members of Red Velvet, they're just under different management now). This song isn't in their Killing Voice video because Cosmic was released a year or two later. This one is pretty fun and also a favorite of mine on first listen (it usually takes me a few listens to get into a song). Very funky, kind of Swedish Pop Dancing Queen vibes. Cosmic MV https://youtu.be/FyG21rXCxlY?si=zjHjypvG9oXlWDQM Cosmic (Band Ver) from It's Live https://youtu.be/ycZ0sHLLEJA?si=2etbMm3mUARWoPoo 🩷💛💚💙💜
Bleep - skz (Song Analysis) https://youtu.be/qS7OsvKqojg?si=2G921q9gc8ln9vSO Since Straykids just won Album of the year with Karma both at MAMA and AAA I thought it might be a good moment to give another song from that Album some love Bleep is my personal favorite and such a cool song, the MV is very fast paced so dont really worry about it too much. As a little extra goodie for you Tim I also added the BTS of felix recording his part Felix recording [17:30 - 19:30] https://youtu.be/owOGZAqFkRo?si=RcDY6fJc6F3SjMXO
Im here once again to request a look into SM Entertainment's vocal experts Aespa!! Although this time rather than suggesting Dark Arts (which i still think you would love!) Ill be suggesting Ningning's new Solo Ketchup and Lemondade. It is truly an insane vocal demonstration of range and control. https://youtu.be/mHgA5w9awoI?si=7oxDEaepKkbNbDqv
I think It might have been part of the original Post last month aswell but if we are doing Thunderous I would love to also recommand the KBS live. https://youtu.be/OL0DEbb_Ze8?si=_VN8IYMjc8F5DufX
Straykids - Hollow (First Take) https://youtu.be/NM0P5ZW5GBo?si=e1UOsw7wmHmn7kpJ I mentioned this one in my comment on the concert reaction. Its a lot more vocal focused then their usuall stuff so I thought it could be interesting for you. It also includes vocal parts for the Rapline so thats nice and it of course has a absolutly amazing bridge(?) done by Hyunjin where you can really hear the unique tone of his voice.
Seungmin’s song by episode when he revisits Love poem. Kickflip’s Band-aid.
Band aid seconded so hard I love Kickflip!
https://youtu.be/UNo0TG9LwwI?si=s6wvjoRstUer2HxZ BTS' Jungkook has done a lot of solo songs and they're great! Standing next to you has that Michael Jackson vibe that is often associated with him.😉
Red Velvet Killing Voice Deep Dive https://youtu.be/KEFNlx4ZIOU?si=LHc4ptI4g4NaacD2 You really enjoyed their Psycho performance, so I think you'd really enjoy doing a deeper dive into their discography. One of my favorite things about them is their ability to produce dynamic soundscapes with their harmonies and interweaving ad libs. I think you'd have a blast analyzing their separate vocal tambres, techniques, and also music stylings. With their Killing Voice performance, I was able to hear some extra harmonies that are usually more in the background in their studio releases instead. Some fun factoids (mostly just what I've heard, so take with a grain of salt): - It's one of the longest Killing Voice videos since their discography is massive. I've heard it was originally 40-45 min long, but had to be cut down. The final version is missing quite a few title tracks from their later releases. - It was recorded twice to accommodate the cut down version and also because they didn't like the level of their energy the first go. - Yeri was sick during recording, so she's a little more subdued than the others. I really hope you get a chance to check them out some more outside of Psycho! 🩷💛💚💙💜
Mousey and an artist named Caleb Hyles did a cover of Free a couple months ago, and I noticed it you hadn’t done it yet, so here it is! https://youtu.be/jVtClojXdHE?si=rrCpW4s3EraGwZTR
QWER M Countdown Stage - 눈물참기 (Dear) I believe this is a new group to this channel. Some information about this group is that they are a project idol band which debuted in October of 2023 under Tamago Production. This band has four members known as Chodan (drummer), Magenta (bass), Siyeon (vocalist/guitarist), and Hina (guitarist/keyboard). This stage is their first music show performance which happened quite a bit after their debut, which is quite unusual in the kpop scene since many idol groups make their debut on these sorts of stages. Due to musical equipment and time needed to set up, it cost a lot more, thus their first stage happened a couple years later. https://youtu.be/WRIjMFXLfwo?si=HFtuovu5A6zrgKAs
https://youtu.be/9kTQAqU8XFc?si=VCxastebILedbPIL Cover Me, SKZ, must be live version, lyric video isn't accurate to parts.
I think Tim is really going to enjoy Cover Me when he hears it 🤞🏻 Edit: Also just wanted to add - someone mentioned this in a previous comment on a reaction, but Hyunjin wrote Cover Me and was involved in its production. There's a behind-the-scenes of the recording that you could also react to if you want. It's combined with the behind-the-scenes for Megaverse but you can skip to the Cover Me section if you don't want to see both.
If we do Megaverse I would love to suggest to take a look at a recording Studio Session. It would give you the chance to hear their raw vocals😊 Its the first 13min or so of this https://youtu.be/YMb3EHXjs50?si=fBuvX4Ktmy2mvfCZ
The second half of the video is the recording Session of Cover me which is also in the requests for a song Analysis. That one might even be even more interesting for you as a vocal coach bc its a very singing focused track!
https://youtu.be/DiHUEWBRQEI?si=Hd2mBZbbNl9g1zQ3 Deja Vu by TXT. I’m sure someone else can give more background on this song, but I really enjoy it
https://youtu.be/UggXDgxQTBM?si=-gcY7j7zFhR5ALco Mikrokosmos, yes that is how the song name is spelled it’s not a typo, by BTS. It’s a song Dedicated to ARMY saying everyone is their own beautiful star and together we create a galaxy. It’s a comfort song encouraging everyone to embrace themselves and shine brightly. A fitting song to go into the new year
I think I already suggested CASE 143! You mentioned rapping in your JJAM reaction, I would suggest MEGAVERSE. CASE 143: I would say is a vibrant, pop-driven track that combines playful energy with a catchy, hook-heavy melody. The song’s concept revolves around love as a “mystery case,” blending humor, quirkiness, and relatable emotions. There is a music video, performance video, dance practice, Japanese version via The First Take, and color coded lyric video. It is definitely high energy and can definitely be described as cinematic! There is a music video, dance practice video, color coded lyrics, and video making film.
