JANUARY 2026: What song should I check out next? ...(K-POP separate post)
Happy New Year!
Day one of the New Year has been a WILD ONE for me so far! I normally like to get these 'first of the month' messages out to you all first thing, but we had a water main break at the studio I teach out of in NJ THIS MORNING! Time to move studios...ugh! Lots of shuffling for me over the next few days with all of that but I should still be able to keep the content coming. 🤞

Kurt Nilsen - Walking in the air From Norway. Powerful voice! He won World Idol 2004 when Kelly Clarkson came second https://youtu.be/W4zFevr17aw?si=zF53wE-N-Epv2luM
i know i’m leaving this comment literally only a few days before the month ends, but i can’t let this go without recommending you listen to mafuyu’s song from given. an incredible and emotional song that i genuinely couldn’t listen to for a few months lol. it’s about lost love and finding new love and i think you would like it (or i hope so at least) https://youtu.be/TymI_jVRTzw?si=1eUkNejRSEfVYhCO
Can't recommend OCT (On Company Time) enough if you haven't heard them - they're a comedy music trio kind of like a PG and more musically talented version of the Lonely Island. They just released their first album! The most interesting song to react to is probably Half Horse Half Man but Don't Touch My Clogs and Dim Sum Paradise also have some fun singing. Honestly most of their songs are bangers, even if there is some overlap sound-wise. Half Horse Half Man: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6v_R180kIGs
Hey Tim, do you like RAP? If you want to see all of the boys from SB19 rap (even Stell and Justin), you should check out KALAKAL. The MV’s pretty cool. Plus they did a collab with an OG rapper, Gloc9. For ballads, I recommend Tilaluha from the round festival and Nyebe (official visualizer)
One OK Rock: Take what you want https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=akt5U9pEBjM We are https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uyaKoj7wABY DPR IAN: Don't go insane https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nZ5SfoLB5yA
yes OOR pleaseeeeeeeee and i absolutely love don't go insaneeeee
also want to recommend the spotify performance of eaJ again since il oved it so much and have no one to to talk to about it! so it would be nice if i heard someones proffesional opinionhttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=P5eInKt8Xh0 (the second singer for the duet is shabrina leanor but i don'T really know her:))
i can't find my prevoius comment anymore so I'm just going to recommend something else lol. (I keep coming here to like other recommendations anyway) This time I would like to recommend eaJ - put it on me! a song he wrote after meeting a fan!https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3_ARRJ9-8dM&list=RD3_ARRJ9-8dM&start_radio=1
think some good songs to have a look at are the chainsaw man endings in the anime every episode had a different ED they all have very different sounds and are all cool in different ways here is the link https://youtu.be/_flKbsZoAHg?si=GAAlz4YuEByarYdY
Since you did the studio/MV of Kenshi Yonezu's IRIS OUT recently, please also check out the New Years performance version from the NHK Kouhaku Performance 🙏 https://youtu.be/MJ70B_cwnPk
Your Deep Dives are always so much fun! Electric Callboy the Tekkno Live Show - Deep Dive (Cinema Quality, great Music!) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bEQwAUFITVk
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=05z5ciHMmcA
Hadestown on Broadway https://youtu.be/uWDwy2lAFFo?si=kMztMGS65DhMzPpw
Frozen on broadway https://youtu.be/EG71bWdRd0E?si=XET-OHYe89mysBuo
Berq - Heimweg (Live) So if there is any interest in doing another Berq this month this one would be my recommandation. Its a live performaces for the Colors Show and its incredible. The vocals in this are so interesting and Im 100% sure that Tim would loooove it. https://youtu.be/ba62BXTb2IY?si=fB4msOL0yKVLTyCp
oh youre right that one is basicly made for Tim
Struggling to pick just one song because anything by Jazmin bean would be great because I love their music, but I think Best Junkie You Adore https://youtu.be/M4u3JSmXgAo?si=TXkhGNWwH8Hqmu8D Or You Know What You’ve Done would be really good ones to start with maybe. https://youtu.be/M8ebXl72IQI?si=Nt8DNJkINuEue94o
also, i have yet another mcr song to recommend - planetary (go!) is off of danger days, the same album as SING, and it's just a really fun song overall https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UvfNmXbVHi4
A new vtuber named Victoria Roman released a bilingual character song on debut that's a really fun mix of Enka and Rock to show off her skills. I thought the style is different enough it could be fun to analyze. She's been studying under an Enka master for quite a long time now so I think she's really interested in getting more people into the Japanese genre. She also made the video to go along with it herself and is in a completely new group with Phoebe Chan and previous react video singer Mint Fantome https://youtu.be/qpIH2VstEYU
(I posted this in the chat already but...) If we're talking about anime, I think Steins;Gate is something you've gotta check out. Its story fantastically told and its a classic. Plus the OP song is great https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TR3ma_60-m4
Seeing as how you're getting into anime recently: definitely check out Steins;Gate. It is a fantastic anime. Plus I think you'll like the OP song.
oh hey, I thought this comment was taken down by mistake. I guess not
Quick take. A cheeky acapella mashup of 5 very popular songs. Surprisingly good vocals and beats. HomeFree “Butts Medley” https://youtu.be/IA0WCc3vTls
Listen to the New Year’s Eve performance of golden. They raised the key and it sounds awesome!
HALAZIA by ATEEZ as a YouTube vid because I suspect I'm still one of the very few ATEEZ fans here. Link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SszP3hlQ55Y
I was thinking of a suggestion: music from a video game that might catch your eye? There's a game called Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 that has been renowned recently for its soundtrack and has a TON of opera (opera-like but with trained singers?) in it with ultra rock flair along with classical music, a lot of it combined. Especially a final boss track called Une vie à t'aimer, which is very popular. Another theme called Lumière is very popular too, but it's less intense. It's written so that it's in various iterations of French throughout the centuries and such to make sure there's no spoilers since it's played at the beginning. I'm not sure about that last part. The former is epic. The composer was just some guy on Soundcloud that spent five years composing without knowing how crazy his music would rip in his spare time for an indie game he'd been randomly approached about. He got Best Score and Music and Best Soundtrack at the Gamer Awards and Steam Awards this year, respectively. Just a suggestion, but it'd be cool to see you break it down. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3kMbTzomh94
I'll add this over here. I'd consider it a perfect review for a long form YOUTUBE video. My reasons are in the post. Okay Tim, you might find this interessting. Here is Chappell doing a Live perfromance of several songs off of the School Nights EP in 2017, for Billboard Live. She is out supporting the School Nights EP that Atlantic crammed out while her album crawled to a standstill in production, and she was doing various shows. It includs Die Young (The Song I posted the video of a few days back), and Bad for You, both on the School Nights EP, and Bitter which was unrealesed at the time, and planned for Atlantics Version of CR1 that never happened, though they did toss it out as a single in the next year. She has only got a single guitar backing her up. And she knocks out a flawless recording perfect version of all three songs. It's the same Chappell we know today on the raw skill level, just singing in the different cursive style, and oh so very young. Seven years before she'd break out in 2024. It's a great performance, and it feel it would be perfect for a YouTube long form review. Atlantic has had no cares about enforcing any copyrights on any of the School Nights material for years, (they seem a bit... bitter in fumbling her) and you could use it to highlight young Chappells skills in contrast to who she is today and how they all show here. It might be very instructive for some audience members and fun for you, as it would be three 'new songs' in a way, from her for you to look at. If you decide that you want to do this, and I'll write up a fast history of Chappell's School Nights era with Atlantic that you could open the video with to give viewers context. Many modern fans of hers are totally unaware of the School Nights EP, and other material from this time. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bHr2LNGU8lg
new year, but im still recommending fall out boy, "so much (for) stardust" off of their most recent album, to compare to their older stuff and how patrick's voice has evolved https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bv1D0kFxKC4
So if you are indeed open to doing more stray kids the new dominate tour would be great but what would be much more beneficial to you Is hearing there solo stuff Here is a link with all there solo song's from their album HOP (they recently released dvd versions so please excuse the google doc link) https://docs.google.com/document/d/1_eDew7Ji5TH_yHZu-yTJaWojeUYBRHzThDWjE38WmWs/edit And if you wanna make it like a 4 parter (first two parts the the originals the the 3rd and 4th part is the cover's by the other member's) You could do the extra one where they swap their songs (example, han has a song called "hold my hand" and instead felix cover's it and so on) Here is the link for that (fun fact they match their outfit's to the one they are covering lol) https://youtu.be/p7ZTSCL72ME?si=y1uPy3SxIFsWRirP
I just listened to your chat with Peter Barber. He mentioned HomeFree and their bass, Tim Foust. So it’ll close the loop when you do a HomeFree reaction. Thanks.
I recommended him once already but will recommend him again this time with adifferent thing! It's from the spotify wrapped indonesia event where eaJ performed his song when the rain stops and then collabed with sabrina leanor for say something! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tX32p3Ymhu0
Quick Take request -> Never Fade Away by Michi Mochievee. https://youtu.be/X0y7iOOnedY This just came out and it's a pretty good litmus test to decide if you want to react to her content down the road. The original song is from Cyberpunk 2077. I did post this in one of the discussion channels on Discord when it came out last week (if you read those it might look familiar) but I'm not sure if this is the type of artist that makes sense for published reactions. I'd really love to hear what you think though.
Gonna toss one into left field with the Live In Nashville performance of "Let Me Drown" by Orville Peck https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vfFMt4ZQWZ4 Just such a gorgeous voice with so much emotion to it. And I know you love live singing!
Please do SB19’s QUIT live performance and Crimzone on the Wish bus. Quit - https://youtu.be/gHoTGkTknIM?si=IJTUYJoMibGOyUHw Crimzone - https://youtu.be/bORVBWR8Hio?si=elyjlpGCgd_io60Q
I have chosen to suggest a song by AmaLee, also known by her real name, Amanda Lee. This song shows a wide use of different vocal styles and techniques. It is a song from the movie One Piece: Red, where she stars as the English voice of Uta. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=94a4oW7HRa4
There is a Mongolian metal band my brother introduced to me a while back called The Hu, they do some amazing throat singing I think you’d find fascinating! https://youtu.be/v4xZUr0BEfE?si=DkV-mBUumPjghJvX
I have another suggestion for The Hu on this post as well
"Zoku Zoku" by Phantom Siita! Ado's idol group (originally 5 but one of the members left due to health reasons [Hisui, the one with the highest pitch]) https://youtu.be/H-1oG5U0NAo
ADO just did USSEEWA on the First Take, you totally should check that!!
Ayreon - "The Day That the World Breaks Down" https://youtu.be/oFuMKdrzPqU?si=JoEA5LRMXRK9vh3J Ayreon is the music project of Dutch musician/song writer/producer Arjen Lucassen. He does most of the songwriting and plays many instruments on his tracks but is famous for bringing in other musicians and singers for all of his projects. This album features 11 different singers, all of which are featured in this song, who all play a role within the story that is told through album. Most of them are singers from rock and metal bands in Europe and I will gladly provide a list of the personnel but I'd rather wait until after you do reaction, if this makes it to that point. What's great about this is he adds a lot of behind the scenes commentary about this album, the singers, and the story. There's a wide range of voices between all the singers that will give you a lot to break down and talk about. Hopefully this is something people will vote for and you can get to it some point.
Sara Bareilles and Rufus Wainwright - "She Used to Be Mine" from her musical, Waitress. https://youtu.be/JAZ1nfuluz0?si=UvIjUVP3LziQ9pWO
This is so beautiful 😍
Etta Marcus - "Death Grips" https://youtu.be/GQSDjrGzd94?si=ujBX4gtPftseM_Ro
Hi Tim. Just joined, loved watching your Zutomayo and Gacharic Spin videos! I'd like to suggest Yorushika. Yorushika - That is Why I Gave Up on Music https://youtu.be/Rl1xfaXlrxw?t=6140 This is from a Concert called Zense (Previous Life) which is an arrangement of their songs with "story readings" to tell a narrative of a woman meeting a man who recalls past lives. Interestingly many of the songs from the concert, come from other narrative concept albums "That is Why I Gave Up On Music" and "Elma" (about a couple called Amy and Elma), and "Plagiarism" (about the rise, fall and healing of a plagiarist musical artist).
I second this. Yorushika is incredible.
The Warning performed a mash-up of "La Bamba" and "Twist and Shout" with Billy Idol and Steve Stevens at the Grammy Latin Music Special, recorded in October, but broadcast by CBS just after Christmas. They stole the show, against some stiff competition! https://youtu.be/L0J_8nyPX-k?si=BcsZ3wMtCjESUh1i
Fellow vocalist here, so trust me on this one: you’ll regret skipping this request, even if not many people heart it - SAMMY RAE & THE FRIENDS! Song link below! 100% live, she has never used autotune. I will continue to suggest this artist in the hopes you’ll end up listening to them! https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=yC405kNpUzQ&list=RDyC405kNpUzQ&start_radio=1&pp=ygUdU2FtbXkgcmFlIGphY2tpZSBvbmFzc2lzIGxpdmWgBwE%3D This song is called Jackie Onassis, Sammy Rae wrote it about the first experience she had ever liking a girl. Love your channel btw, I have been obsessively consuming your content for over two months now. Singing is one of the greatest joys of my life and each time you get overly excited on camera, I feel so seen!
New to me but that's a cool sound and I dig her style. Thanks for the recommendation!
Provinz - Hymne gegen euch https://youtu.be/BKh5IMj4ias?si=BxRoRToS5b7vHLsk If you want to check out a German Band you dont know yet I would recommand Provinz
I’m gonna give you the gift that is Meg Myers. https://youtu.be/r9tJW7dugqc?si=Qqd-m5FXQkzT86P1
I'll second this
Id love to see you check out birdbrain bu Jamie Paige. She is a fantastic lyric writer and composer. She normally uses vocaloid, but this one is a cover by Bao the Whale, which you've covered before. https://youtu.be/0iVlSNpq8i8?si=UrGqwu4_dNzXnQip And here is the original : https://youtu.be/0iVlSNpq8i8?si=UrGqwu4_dNzXnQip
Please react to carakukly sisters and Eden elena - skyfall cover https://youtu.be/YR_A44b5_Js?si=h-6toeqQ5bgXfBmc
Happy new year tim Please react to Yardena Arazi another day ( od yom ehad עוד יום אחד She was in eurovision 1988 with another song ( human) https://youtu.be/YhtFRjQPh6Q?si=RCmKJaIOEiih5HAf
happy new year tim! i’d love for you to check out ADÉLA! she’s a rising pop star and i definitely think 2026 will be a big year for her (she’s opening for demi lovato this year!) ADÉLA - SexOnTheBeat https://youtu.be/my9AhZHL0nI?si=4RJuryG5HRQN-ZCC this is her first live performance ever! it has some suggestive themes in it so if that’s too much, here’s her first hit ADÉLA - SUPERSCAR https://youtu.be/Pn6ey6HOkP4?si=HgpFSXRDUUOBshPk
Happy New Year Tim! A song from Rosalias album Lux would be fine.
sorry, the link https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OxDmGz60hws&list=OLAK5uy_lKDUVVLWVAAtp0gw49cFWoZ-ygGskDNVQ
Some genshin stuff definitely worth listening! https://youtu.be/kglEsR7bqAY?si=DWnp-_t6g70WnspS https://youtu.be/tN5JACOEJFM?si=hogbEpajEB3YkiHk https://youtu.be/EiAhMr6IJTQ?si=GhEYdqWBcH6Ny3Sf
https://youtu.be/WWEs82u37Mw?si=qzv_aRUhs25uQa2D Pretty fun and makes my body chill every time I listen!
The hololive “King” covers. It’s a 2:15 second song so nothing too long. Pretty much every member of Hololive did a cover of the song because it was a “friendly” song because the artist allows covers and reactions. I shared my two favorite Hololive covers plus the original one. I know you’d enjoy the song and the covers! The original version by Kanaria https://youtu.be/cm-l2h6GB8Q?si=ABYpGRMAtVtNzJg3 Suisei https://youtu.be/mLwtfg57kbs?si=ZVCuBn2-totmFGVc Gawr Gura x Calliope Mori https://youtu.be/qNIhngowViI?si=d1HnL3Q5oOKB95UP
Official Hige Dandism's "Cry Baby", it's the opening for the anime "Tokyo Revengers" - https://youtu.be/O1bhZgkC4Gw?si=WzkQ3HHGgM0cl-2n Live version: https://youtu.be/V8kXFEWNTYc?si=sZtxv5-eRGFhdnes Pretty sure there's like 10 key changes in this song, to match the time leap theme of the show
King Gnu's "Hakujitsu" - https://youtu.be/ony539T074w?si=vKjeAiGucYJCcrBF
Fuji Kaze's "Shinunoga e-wa" - https://youtu.be/lRVJuPI5IXI?si=rsHz_YuZHNFd9AEZ
YOASOBI's "Idol", the first opening for the anime Oshi no Ko: https://youtu.be/ZRtdQ81jPUQ?si=-Nn9luuDwdMA4YC_ Live version: https://youtu.be/IvMFMA89Yi8?si=Jy7Tt_jrxb4Qy3Ax
Hi Tim! Recommending SB19's QUIT live performance. Here's the link - https://youtu.be/gHoTGkTknIM?si=iPdqZbdLjSfju31k You can also check out TILALUHA from the round festival for another beautiful ballad. The link is https://youtu.be/OLcABkQrmfw?si=CU_azuqSH7kFkyUR Thanks!
I'll just put forward the three that I'm currently pushing, all are over on Discord. 1) The Hayley Williams true believer live on the tonight show. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sNNYei__joU 2) The Chappell Roan Demo "Cowboy" https://www.dropbox.com/scl/fi/hrurvntt1s4nsw778e5xg/Cowboy-Chappell-Roan-unreleased.mp4?rlkey=gcud5lq2quwwwptbezk3w1dda&st=n4t4w91s&dl=0 3) The Lady Gaga Harlequin concert https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=c231tCsQalU All fit your originally conveyed channel goals amazingly well, though perhaps an update of your focus and desired direction in that area would be useful for '26. Feel free to upvote the entire group and let Tim pick as he pleases, or comment which you'd prefer and he can count those replies and upvotes together.
If you split them up and give a few more specifics, it’s easier for us to upvote over here. 👍🏽
The Rose - Back to me https://youtu.be/fuzLp9gDcwY?si=tgzmDrH_ijzgxu8l The Rose is a korean-american band but they make mostly music in english right now. I don’t think they really fit into the kpop genre so i thought i’d put this here. I have loved their music for many years and it would be really fun if you’d check them out!
100% yes!!! I’ve tried to suggest this one a few times but it doesn’t seem like there’s much support for The Rose
HERO x MILLI Ft. Changbin (Stray Kids) - Mirror Mirror This is a song by two Thai Rappers that also features Changbin with a absolutly insane Rap that really made some waves in the Rap community when it first came out https://youtu.be/FZlBKl-spfY?si=tp9xxUTUOA9HYI97
This community is making me revisit all my favorite anime’s and their music. I was to recommend we check out Hiroshi Kitadani’s First Take of the One piece opening song We Are. Released in 1999 this is the first opening song for the anime One Piece and it is iconic for us fans of the anime https://youtu.be/HB4iNVa746E?si=abvLFJFPflwdRLQP
Berq - Mein Hass tritt dir die Haustür ein https://youtu.be/u_xbJMWU0jQ?si=3xrROXLvHZwFYRn1 I thought I would bring back some Berq. This song is so interesting!
I would like to request another My Chemical Romance song, Vampires Will Never Hurt You. https://youtu.be/Gyu_hqpxj8M?si=AJ7V-bkPjKlZtF4P This was the first song that they ever recorded and is still one of Gerard Way's favorite vocal performances that he has done. There is a little bit of crazy backstory on this one since Gerard had a tooth access that day. He left in the middle of the session, to get emergency dental work. He came back and was "woozy, slurring and emotionless." Due to the lack of budget, they needed to record that day. The other band members hid his pain medication, then, when he still wasn't delivering a good take, their friend and producer punched him in the mouth. This led to the very angry vocal take that Way gave in this song.
Aaaaand back again with my Tom Cardy - Transcendental Cha Cha Cha rec. I just love this song, and I love the video. This existential absurdity is just the kind of comedy I go for. Brief intro to Tom Cardy: he's a comedian-musician who does a LOT of songs designed for quick vertical content. A large portion of his music is meant for social media engagement, but when he puts the effort in to do a full release of a song, or an album, it's always incredible and his lyricism is top notch. This is MY favorite song by him but there are many popular ones: Red Flags (feat. Montaigne), Hey I Don't Work Here, Why Am I Anxious, Beautiful Mind (this one is actually released on Brian David Gilbert's channel I believe) Transcendental Cha Cha Cha: https://youtu.be/BLzxuIfD9rU?si=7L_vqADWKCCxPSC0
I'm going to request something NEW this month (this year?): Mad Tsai. He frequently gets associated with kpop because he's good friends with musician Hannah Bahng (the sister of Bang Chan from Stray Kids) and is himself a big fan of ATEEZ, but he's an American pop artist. This song was so sad and beautiful that I cried a little the first time I heard it. If you like him, he also has a hot song about gay vampires that is a certified BANGER but I thought I'd start with the more vocals-focused one 😂I don't know much about Mad Tsai yet but he's very active on YouTube and likes to have fun meme-ing around. https://youtu.be/8XGDVhA6Rp4?si=sjP7m1u8Dl9dOqBq Edit: I never know what to put for the type of reaction - I'll take what I can get honestly
https://youtu.be/F7-bBVIKCnE?si=bpxP9nU-e1qLCqVn My Star from Final Fantasy 16. Beautiful vocals with a jazzy sound
I'd like to recommend again: no promises to keep from ffvii rebirth. If you do please just do a mild spoiler warning for the game, for everyone that has not played but wants to. At this point the game is long time out, so dont worry too much, but I guess a warning is fair. I would prefer just a small reaction, amd your thoughts about visuals and vocals. I hope you consider it someday. Happy New year. Greetings Martin https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uZr337zWYVY
A sax solo in a REN/Alic Benjamin style song will have you grooving and their vocals are interestingly monotone https://youtu.be/ZBFhBPo-yqc?si=LiLE1Vx4bUcRmxW9
"We are the World" was an international sensation and national collaboration of some of the greatest artists of all time. I think it would be so awesome for you to comment on all of their different voices https://youtu.be/9AjkUyX0rVw?si=7vT0OnOCqrL_8F2D
Absolute no brainer, Ado's guest appearance on The First Take performing Usseewa. Could also check out her group, Phantom Siita. They tagged along too. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ujyJRxAKpVE&list=RDujyJRxAKpVE&index=2
Hi, Happy New Year. I'm new to the channel/patreon but I love your reactions. My request is for the vtuber that you already reacted to but not solo (with Calli)- Tokoyami Towa. Her Sanvitalia song is not the most popular but I love it. I would love to hear the deep analysis on that one. https://youtu.be/ScTHsLH_0js
An analysis of another one live from Pepsi Center: The Warning - Animosity: https://youtu.be/C_XaLBMElqU
Ado was on THE FIRST TAKE for the first time and performed her debut hit ''Ussewa''. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ujyJRxAKpVE The idol group that Ado created, Phantom Siita also performed for the first time on THE FIRST TAKE performing a medley of 2 Ado songs and 2 of theirs. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=e5JxMRNwN0U
https://youtu.be/6ufDVWeunA0?si=9z0gDJW3ep5fWBsA The Rose. They are a Korean rock band, so they don’t really fit under the K Pop label so I’m putting it here. If people think I should move it I will. This would definitely be a longform video as they’re performing several songs from their most recent album. They are Korean but many of their songs are in English due to one member being raised in Los Angeles and their goal to be understood internationally. They are definitely soft rock, not hard rock
Nightwish - Weak Fantasy. Fantastic vocals, great drum work and it goes hard. Plus, you get to see Marko's "Beast." https://youtu.be/5uRLDmU-Kp8?si=EW1wjlDTlIX5HSK2
ReVamp - Disdain live at Graspop. One singer ( Floor Jansen) 3 vocal technics https://youtu.be/iNSf64M9uA0?si=5HRC6_7--cQfpZIF
I humbly request for the 5th time Louder and than Words by Les Friction 😭 if I could only listen to three bands for the rest of my life they would be on that list. https://youtu.be/6F1d0gW3V30?si=fQFKFegHivzn3gsp
Read the message I sent! I think I already confirmed that one for this month
https://youtu.be/oJZfEh3EciU?si=Vkaa16XzE0BmJrqK Sugaan Essena by The Hu. A band from Mongolia utilizing throat singing techniques. It’s different from anything else I listen to and it’s so enthralling. The song itself was written for a Star Wars video game so the language being used is a fictional alien language that was created by The Hu themselves
The Hu are so interesting. And they got a mention in a recent Patricia Briggs novel in her Alpha and Omega. That was unexpected.
An analysis or deep dive of this oldie but goldie: Black Sabbath - Sabbath Bloody Sabbath: https://youtu.be/mfTpjrzas5E Ozzy only sang it live a few times in the 90s as far as I know and it didn't sound very good. I'm not sure if it was impossible to replicate live or something else. edit: I'll split my request in two instead to make it easier to vote. Hope that's okay.
The heart is for Black Sabbath.
Maneskin (Italian rock band, has mix of Italian and English songs) would be fun to explore their music here’s one of there more popular songs: Beggin - Maneskin https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=Xg72z08aTXY
Hi Tim! :) I am once again recommending League songs! Sherly Lee Ralph - Blood Sweat and Tears - https://youtu.be/rhTZTy1rZhw This song was about Ambessa (from Arcane) when it was announced that she would be put into the game. The vocal texture in her voice is so juicy in this song. HEARTSTEEL - PARANOIA - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MDErQ1KTzaI True Damage is their fictional boyband group using champions from League. They partner with real artists: BAEKHYUN (playing Ezreal, the teal haired vocalist), tobi lou (playing K'Sante, the bridge singer), ØZI (playing Sett, the pink haired rapper from the fighting ring), and Cal Scruby (playing Kayn/Rhaast, the first rapper with the pink/purple hair). There are also the characters Aphelios (the blue haired guy with the mask) who is the writer, and Yone (the white haired guy) who is their manager. Awaken - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zF5Ddo9JdpYI was made to kick off the 2019 competitive season. Legends Never Die - https://youtu.be/r6zIGXun57U is another REALLY GOOD song (practically iconic at this point). It was made for Worlds, which is their pro esports championship. They feature real artist Against the Current. K/DA - MORE - https://youtu.be/3VTkBuxU4yk Another K/DA song! Has the same singers (plus a new one!): Madison Beer (playing Evelynn, the light purple haired singer with the glasses) SOYEON (playing Akali, the rapper, from (G)I-DLE) MIYEON (playing Ahri, the main singer with the fox tails/ears, from (G)I-DLE) Jaira Burns (playing Kai'Sa, the black haired singer/choreographer) Lexie Liu (playing Seraphine, the Chinese singer)
Since you’ve been getting into rock/metal lately you really should check out Avenged Sevenfold this is my favorite song from them called danger line https://youtu.be/w77ycjbCDbA?si=MUW460XHWA9zUf-l
Happy New Years Tim! Here’s to a great year of new music and content! Colorful Array - Neurosama: https://youtu.be/FNfGw1wrKtU?si=Xiw0Cx2lsSzneTB6 Evil (Cover) - Camila and Evil Neuro: https://youtu.be/MWGnHCaqxdU?si=rpAX6DpJwxHTEuYe Chinatown Blues (Cover) - Neurosama and Vedal: https://youtu.be/tVKgDbElMEc?si=PHgI4WA_JGJigE1S
Evil is really fun, and the duet of Camila with an AI would probably be very interesting to Tim
SB19 Quit Live Performance https://youtu.be/gHoTGkTknIM?si=at6zayph57VXN38O
I’m gonna keep (respectfully) asking for a reaction to this specific video, but it’s a concert reaction not a song - Nidarosdomen Concert - Aurora https://youtu.be/XXVwFvkNTEg?si=9knyR9Aw4np5lZBo
I do want to add to this, that this performance is with like an orchestra and a choir and it’s probably one of her absolute best concerts!! She performances a few covers and some songs you haven’t heard yet!
A brand new year so lets try some brand new artists Ina (Ee-nah) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XzkNg89Cq9Y if you react to this check the credits in the description before starting for a surprise Kiara (Key-R-uh) https://youtu.be/6L4NNkF2Knc she choreo’d her own dances, videos never fail to become viral tiktok dances. VERY Kpop inspired NSP- https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kT8cX2-_7pQ American band, singer says he suffers from perfect pitch which is horrible for a comedy musician
I love that young Danny is played by the actor from Stanger Things
