Rest In Peace Robert Redford
Robert Redford's legacy is vast. To honor his passing, we're re-airing one of our favorite episodes: The Great Waldo Pepper. Fun fact: Roger, Gala, and Quentin viewed this movie on film at The New Beverly Cinema. It's co-hit, The Sting, was also supposed to be featured in this episode, but we ended up letting The Great Waldo Pepper stand alone.
Here's to the dreamers.
This episode was originally Season 1, Episode 19 and aired March 28th, 2023.

Hello ジャクアタクア
You point out that you had a perfect opportunity to give us more (The Sting), but instead, you gave us something we've already had access to for free. For 2 years. Does anyone else who pays for this think that's weird?
Hi, we actually never recorded The Sting, that was just a fact that I decided to share. We re-aired this episode to honor Robert Redford's passing.
I wish Miyazaki wasn't mention. In this contry (France) hé is constantly named for wrong resons.
RR was the real deal.
Fantastic episode. Fantastic movie.
I was recently watching old George Sherman films. And it is sad how many films stars have been forgotten over the years. (John Payne, Rory Calhoun) let’s hope Robert Redford doesn’t fall into that category. Because he is the GOAT!
Makes me think of the behind the scenes rehearsal stuff QT did at Sundance for Reservoir Dogs
Rest well Robert
👌👍
I just hit minute 8, and Raj is recounting the dinner table scene, and now I really want to see Waldo Pepper again. Unfortunately I'm at work.
Equal parts great actor and beautiful looking man 😍
Loved this episode. Can’t wait to listen again.
An irreplaceable figure - as an actor, director, environmentalist, and champion of independent American cinema.
Robert Redford was king shit man. The mf was a real one.
RIP to one of the greats
I need ya’ll to talk about Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid
RIP
