Thank you for doing this!
It makes me very happy to hear the "Vengeance Unlimited" love. For the longest time it felt like a lonely battle to tell people about it. I truly think it's Michael's finest hour outside the big theatrical releases.
Loved it and especially the interview they suggested with Michael. At the end of that interview u can tell he was dealing with a lot of issues at the end of his life.
Heartfelt Tribute and List !
Thank pure cinema podcast. I have been looking for the complete season of vengeance unlimited for 25 years. Never thought the day would come. Thank you again. For those who are interested it is on the internet archive. https://archive.org/details/vengeanceunlimiteds01e08dishonorabledischarge
I rewatched the whole show like three times. Had it on VHS tapes, but they're worn out by now. So I dig the archive.
It's striking how most of those roles feature 1. Madsen just out of prison, 2. Madsen on his way to prison, or 3. Madsen putting people into prison. Even if he played an elementary school teacher, you'd expect there to be a prison in the movie somewhere. Actually, that sounds cool.
I enjoyed the analysis of 44 Minutes: The North Hoolywood Shoot-Out. Southern Comfort (1981) has a similar issue with awkward exposition at the beginning, which gets wiped away when the action kicks in.
The hardest hitting celebrity death so far.
just watched trouble bound last night, he kinda used to sing the lines like samuel jackson in a way, but his voice was blues
A bittersweet tribute.
This was a wonderful tribute to a sorely missed actor. I now have a large list of his films and TV shows to watch
rip ✊🏻
Fuck yea
Woo woo 🤘🏽
Can also be found on amazon..for those who do not have apple
Amazon, Apple, Spotify -- pretty much everywhere! I just linked the Apple one because I couldn't do it all ;-)
I was so excited to see this come across my feed on Spotify. MM was such a cool dude.
It was a lively, informative celebration of his lesser known work. Appreciated.
Thank you. ♥️
You’re gonna make me cry Quentin. Too many brutal celeb deaths in a short span of time.
I’m so glad they were all able to get together to talk about our incredible star ⭐️
Awesome 👏
