The Video Archives Cinema Club: October
"Rediscover "gateway horror" classics each Tuesday of the month. On Thursdays, enter the gothic world of Hammer films. Every Friday, join us for underseen horror anthologies culminating in our TALES FROM THE ARCHIVES mystery triple feature on Halloween Night! On Saturdays, we're showing director-themed doubles highlighting masters of the genre. Tickets to all shows on sale via The Vista Theater website. There will be a standby line at the box office on the day of each show.
Remember, if what you like is sold out, there is always a stand by line!"
Cinema club manager Matt Landsman put together an amazing calendar for October. What's his pick of the month? Phantom of the Paradise (with co-hit Sisters) and Return to Oz. Gala's (besides Phantom of the Paradise) would be Fright Night and Night of the Living Dead on 16mm!
