The Running of the Wolves
Every year, Pineridge holds it's annual Running of the Wolves Festival. In some parts of the world, this kind of thing might be about running away from a stampede of Bulls or something. Pineridge does it very differently.
People apply in their droves to join in, though few actually make it into the competition. Some do it for the prizes. Some do it for the challenge. Most come because they want to experience being hunted down by a pack of horny wolves. In theory, the objective is to be the last remaining competitor to make it to the finish line, but every year the countryside around the town ends up littered with very sticky unconscious but extremely satisfied people.
That's assuming they don't meet any of the other creatures that live out in the wilds first.

What is the deal with this?
The Running of the Wolves is currently in the Demo stage, as we prepare for the big main early-access release.
The Demo contains everything up until the end of the first World and will be replayable or resettable to keep playing and exploring. The full release will continue for a further 3 Worlds.
Our plan for the Demo and full release is to release monthly builds, which will be available on Patreon and Subscribestar at least a week ahead of public release. Any game functionality, updates or features that are not specific to Worlds in the full release will be ported into the demo version.
As a Patreon Member, if you support us at a tier above Tip Jar, you'll get permanent access to the Full Builds, as well as all the other benefits.

Tell me more about the game...
RotW is an Adult 3d adventure game. Once you progress past the Hub town of Pineridge, you'll have a route map of the Forest World which contains Procedurally generated Dungeons and Forest areas.
As you work through the levels, you'll be chased by 20 Persistent Wolves. This means they are generated at the start of the game, and will continue to appear and change as the game progresses. Depending on how you deal with them, they'll react differently when they next see you. If they get taken out of the game, then that's one less enemy to deal with.
Alongside you will be a group of other competitors, trying to survive to the end as well.
The Final game will have 4 Worlds in total: Forest, Plains, Foothills and Mountains, each with a unique boss at the end to either fight, evade or "entertain".
