Feedback & Grow FAQs
Every quest helps shape the next one.
You’ve explored the map, taken on some quests, and expanded your Patreon journey.
Now, you might have a few questions. Here are some of the most common ones we hear from creators at this stage. And if something comes up that isn't here, let us know! We'll keep refining this as more creators go through the journey.
How do I know which growth strategy to focus on first?
Head back to the How should you grow? post, open your Patreon Insights, and retake the Growth Pathfinder Quiz. From there, trust what feels most relevant to you and your community right now. Pick the strategy that fits where you want to grow, start small, experiment, and see what happens.
How long should I try a strategy before deciding if it worked?
Longer than you might think. Most growth strategies become easier to evaluate after consistent effort and enough data.
It's also common for a strategy to evolve as you learn more. Adjustments to your messaging, timing, or approach can shift the outcome. Check your Insights for patterns, see what's resonating with your audience, and use those learnings to shape your next experiment.
Do I need to completely overhaul my Patreon to grow?
Almost never. Most creators find that smaller, intentional adjustments made consistently over time move the needle more than big dramatic overhauls. Pick one thing, try it, see what happens, and build from there.
What if I'm not ready to raise my prices or restructure my tiers yet?
That's completely fine. Not every quest is right for every creator at every stage, which is exactly why this collection is designed to let you choose your own path. Come back to those quests when the timing feels right. Your Insights and the Growth Pathfinder Quiz will help you figure out when that is.
What should I do if I try something and it doesn't work?
Log it and keep going. Every experiment teaches you something about your audience, your workflow, and the kind of Patreon experience you're building. The ones that don't land are just as useful as the ones that do.
Where can I get help and support?
Our Help Center has resources if you get stuck, and this is also where you can contact our award-winning support team!
