Look, I love Harley. Everybody loves Harley. But can we talk about the fact that Poison Ivy showed up in Gotham decades before Harley, literally as the seduction bombshell?

She's had a pretty weird arc. The writers were originally inspired by a Nathaniel Hawthorne story and — reportedly — Bettie Page. So yeah, she was the original femme fatale. Then after the first Crisis she was Dr. Pamela Isley, brilliant but mousy scientist, able to secrete pheromones that turn men into zombie simps. And today…well I don’t know. We get glimpses of the old Ivy from time-time. But she went from seductress who controls men to eco-terrorist, and now she's ...a lesbian I think (bing!) who's Harley's side chick I guess?

I guess you could say it's kind of a “thorny” relationship. Ha! I crack myself up.
