I've been working on avatar clothes this weekend. Clothes are taking longer to produce than they did in earlier versions – this is because there are now more body shapes to fit the clothes to.
For instance, in the previous version, there was one pair of sports knickers and six sports bras: 7 pieces of artwork to fit everybody. Now, there are 6 pairs of sports knickers (3 x body shapes, front and rear) and 36 sports bras (3 x body shapes, 6 x bra sizes, front and rear): 42 pieces of artwork to fit everybody.
You guys are going to judge it, of course, but I feel like the extra work will be worth it. The agent has to hold your interest over a long game, so I think that giving you the ability to choose body shapes and bra sizes will be worth it in the end. But, it's taking longer than originally anticipated to get everything drawn and coded in.
The early release of 1.5 is planned for Monday 6th. We'll work as hard as we can to get it releasable by then, but I want to let you know that we may need to push the date back a little in order to get everything done. We'll definitely release at least a Beta on the 6th so you can get a feel for the new avatar features.

Various body shapes are good to see. Will these body shapes have meaningful features in later Bangkok part? Or is it only good for viewing?
The game "knows" that you have a certain body shape (lean, hourglass, or curvy), so any writer can make references to your agent's body type in the narrative in future. For example: text during sex scenes could be tailored to refer to the agent's body type (e.g. "his hand cracks down hard on your tight/slender/curvy ass"). NPCs could comment on the agent's body. In Bangkok, NPC clients will have body type preferences. If your agent's body matches the preferred type, she'll get a bonus to seduction attempts.

I agree with Toadsith that your daily updates mean that everyone should feel confident and satisfied with your progress even if the release ends up a little late, especially if we’re only talking about a week or less.
Take your time
Thanks - you update so often that we know you aren't slacking. Personally, I'd rather a delay and not have you stressed and cutting corners to hit an arbitrary deadline. This update is a pretty major overhaul of the game, so delays are totally understandable.
