Monday transparency report
Hey guys! This week I started production on the next episode. It’s set in Bangkok, it includes the new wet t-shirt contest, it’s gonna be really cool. I’ll get the tasks back into the kanban format soon, since I know some people found it much preferable last time.
Both the recent beta tests used placeholder art for a lot of the scenes – this week our illustrator lovely Victoria finished a bunch of new clothes and avatar edits which I’m currently working into the code, which look great as always…

One of them is a new bikini, which is allowing us to improve the tanlines – several of you asked if they could be toned down (which I agree is necessary, I overdid them last time 😬), and we’re also giving her some sexier tanlines which will improve every nude scene.
This is somewhat time consuming because it needs a lot of assets to test properly (each suntan is made up of more than 25 individual art assets) and requires experimentation. That said, I don’t want to rush it/half ass it and have to do it again in the future so I’m just giving it the time it needs instead of stressing about it. I wanted to get it crossed off my list this afternoon but it should be finished tomorrow. 🤞🏻😬🤞🏻

can i ask why no darksin option in characters also i newly joined has there been no further update on the game
There have been tiny beta releases but none that would continue the story from where it was abandoned.
This is officially abandoned now, Crush will be back on model creation after every weekly report and betas. He/She doesn't even get the main of HTML text based game. The audience isn't entertained by that 2d art alone (even though it does somewhat contribute to it), the main attraction is the storytelling in the freaking TEXTS. There is little to no progression after White Russian side quest, on top of that new content is being introduced in the middle of existing ones which honestly doesn't matter at this point. Audience's main complaint was totally ignored for the last 3 years about protagonist's mentality moving ahead. Kate has come at such point she either needs to go full commando or dip out of the mission.
Nobody cares about tan lines enough for you to be concentrating on them. Assuming Victoria actually exists let her figure that stuff out and work on the damn story. Literally years of regression at this point. Glad I never got stuck in the milking barn that is this Patreon.
And so it goes, first is "this is nearly ready", then it is "we are adjusting some art" , then "I don't like how this scene was, I am rewriting it", then "the new rewritten scene needs new art", then back to "this is nearly ready". Every single "transparency" report reads like the same phrases used over, and over, and over again... for now 3 years? everything was "nearly done". And now, we get "This week I started production on the new episode". What will follow is again 1-2 years of "I am nearly done with it", then "I wasn't happy with X scene so I had to rewrite it" and in the meantime more art will be created, and teased, and nothing concrete will be done, except rewrites of previous content. Successful milking of Patreons, mission achieved.
This all being a milking project would be believable if he was milking us for updates that we actually wanted (i.e. for story progression). Because he is determined to just re-invent material we already have and don't want/need to see re-invented, it is clear to me that he just doesn't understand storytelling and is stuck in this loop of "it isn't perfect, so I must scrap it and start all over again." At this point, I am just here to see the amazing ongoing train wreck.

I dont understand... the update isn't finished a while ago and you where just making fixes and those things? I'm not throwing hate, just curious
