WIP #89

Hey everyone!

I wanted to check in earlier, I was just so focused on modeling the items the days just passed by.

As I said earlier this next set is about the shelves and displays for our bookshop. First I wanted to make a big shelving system and I was really inspired by Livraria Lello's bookshelves which is a bookstore in Portugal and such a shame I didn't visit it when I was in Porto because it is a treasure!

I wanted these to be versatile, so instead of creating separate versions for every wall height, I made a base bookcase with two extension pieces that can be stacked on top. One extension works for medium walls, while two extensions fit tall walls. I still need to experiment with the setup and sizing, since I want the smaller pieces to work as standalone items while also being stackable.

The other displays are these. As you can see they are still work in progress. Hopefully once I'm done with them I can move on to the books for this set but since I have a shorter schedule those might come in the next part. I plan to make 3-4 book groups to fill up the shelves, so they won't have too specific covers to avoid repetition but there will be smaller displays, standalones with more themed books and I want to make for the next part readable books (if I figure out the way) and make simmified real life books.
