Mr. Deity and The Contest
Sorry for getting this up later than promised. I had some health issues after my birthday. And no, it was not a multi-day hangover. I don't drink.
It's amazing how many Biblical stories I've yet to touch on after nearly 20 years. We can finally put this one to bed now!
Thanks again, gang. And enjoy!!! B

Loved the shot at Ray the telegrifter Comfort! Interestingly, that was one of my favorite bible stories when I was a kid. I recently read that Elijah and company may hedged their bets using some kind of clear flammable liquid known in that period which substance I cannot recall, but it would certainly fit in with the whole smoke and mirrors proposition that is organized- even then!- religion
"It's one banana, what could it cost? Ten dollars?"
No more miracle money after the 1st century. That’s the best line.
Ha ha ha! That's bananas!
Oh!!!! Well done! ❤️
You’re a real “creeper”! Hahaha. I was hoping that you’d get into how Joey Smith thought Elijah and Elias (Elijah’s name in Greek) were two different prophets, as declared in the D&C. Whoops. Ah well, that’ll be another episode. What I’d love to see is what happens when Job phones in.
Loved it! On a side note: While I will never offer you an alcoholic beverage (unless you ask, but knowing that you don’t imbibe, I will ask you if you’re sure…?) I drink, therefore I am. (But that’s putting Descartes before the horse) I like Bushmills Irish whiskey, but I am told that that is a “Protestant whiskey”. Fortunately, I never let god get in the way of my drinking…
