Mr. Deity and the Relationship
I did it! There's a reason they call me "one-take Bri." Of course, it took me seventeen(?) takes to get that one take but still... LOL! 😂
I've poked at this subject before in different ways. But the idea of having a "relationship" with a being such as the Tribal War god of Abraham is beyond silly. The things we look for in a relationship with each other don't really work with a Tri-Omni god who is so infinitely beyond us and our understanding. I think you'll like this one. Especially if your sense of humor leans dark.
Thank you all so much! I am beyond grateful for all your support. How would I get to Texas to meet my granddaughter without you?
Have a great November — including a fantastic Thanksgiving (despite all the awfulness surrounding the holiday). Share this Mr. Deity with your pre-Vatican II, or Missouri Synod Lutheran grandmother! But first, enjoy it yourself!
I'll see you all next month! ❤️❤️❤️

Love to!
Love it, Mr. Deity!
Brill Bri!
No doubt about it: Mr D needs another visit with the therapist. Just in time for the holiday, he reveals that he's a… Hallowed Weenie.
LOL! 😂
I don't know why Mr Deity trying to form a relationship with humans makes me think of German cannibals and social media, but it totally does. So glad to see more Mr D content popping up occasionally. I know the budget is tight these days so I'm not expecting a full resurgence, but thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you all the same.
It's not the budget so much as the distance. Everyone's spread out (3000 miles). I'm trying to get Sean for a Jesse/Jesus episode. I don't think we'll ever get Amy back. Which makes me sad.
Great take on the relationship excuse that christians often use. “It’s not a religion, it’s a relationship”, well it’s time to pay some damn taxes and lose all the other privileges religions still have. Darkmatter mate a great cartoon about this subject: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_MLsnHBhgHA
Great relationship 🤣😂🤣😂,! A unique look at it from the other side. That small coffin bit - brutal and deserved. Reminds me of Seth Andrews' "The god of cancer" episode. You're the Bob Newhart of deconstructing god!
OH!!! That really warms my heart. Bob Newhart is one of my three comedy heroes. That is high praise indeed!!! Thanks so much. You've made my fortnight! ❤️
Really does put it in perspective.
I love that screen name!!! I wanna get on the Gusbus! Wait... LOL! 😂
