WOTM: On The Basis Of Reason
A few months back, I teamed up with Paulogia to make a video about Low Bar Bill, Christian excusegist ordinaire, William Lane Craig. He once again said the quite part out loud — that the arguments aren't what bring people to Jesus. Instead, it's the emotional stuff... which he traffics in quite a bit on his channel.
Indeed, my video a few months back (The Absurdity Of Life With Jesus) was a parody of his video, "The Absurdity Of Life Without God," and extremely dark video which does nothing BUT pull at the heart strings. This video goes into the challenge presented by Bill's work a bit deeper than the video I made with Paul.
Thanks again, gang! Enjoy!!! B

I had a teacher who said, "If you are looking for a warm feeling from me I will piss in your pocket and we can go home." Honest, he was.
"Do you want to feel good...or do you want the truth?" Perfect question, Brian. Sadly, but understandably, most humans [like LBB] fear death, and therefore believe the absurdities of religion -- especially the hope of eternal life. You've laid it out brilliantly. Thanks again!
In this day and age, there is only one reason to believe in any religion: credo quia consolans, I believe because it comforts me. Of course, if excusegists were honest about this, they'd be out of jobs.
He believes it cause he wanna.
