WOTM: Is Hell Just?
Christian excusegist, Tim Barnett, from the Red Pen Logic channel made a short video offering a truly silly excuse for God's disproportionate justice — sending people to Hell for an infinite amount of time, when their sins were all finite (and mostly minor — not talking about you, Adolf). So I had some fun dismantling his nonsense. Now, will someone put another shrimp on the barb-e for me?
I know I say this every month, but I really do feel tremendous gratitude at the end of every month when I post these videos. That I get to make these videos is truly the best thing in my life. If I could detail all of your cars, I really would (I'm actually pretty good at it). So once again, Thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you!
Have a great June, and I'll see you all back here at the end of the month. And don't forget to watch and comment on these videos when they go up on YouTube. It really helps with the Al Gore Rhythm section! Enjoy!!! B

TB still ducked the basic question: Is infinite punishment justified for a finite crime? His example assumes someone who continues to crime forever. What if, say, after I murder 70 trillion more people in hell I decide to just call it a day... take up pickleball or crochet or swimming in fire lakes. If my math is correct, infinity is > 70 trillion. By a lot. What then, Tim? What a dumbass!
In Hell, you would be taking the Lord's name in vain, that is you would beseeching relief from your Lord and your Lord would not answer because he doesn't answer prayers. Vain, your efforts would be. These people are despicable experts at blaming the victim and little, actually nothing, else. And those commandments are "thou shall not kill another Hebrew" but repeating "another Hebrew" over and over is tedious, so they left those out. It is okay to covet a Gentile's ass, or cheat them doing business, or kill them, just not other Hebrews. The rules of a religion only apply to acolytes of that religion. Trying to apply the rules of their religion to people who haven't signed on to that religion is despicable, in spades, doubled and redoubled.
Tim believes people who murder do so because they "like to murder". Was he referring to xtian nat'ists?
Oh, Tim… better hope you’re buried with two coins on your eyes. You gotta pay Charon to ferry you across the River Styx to Hades! Sorry, but try to tell me that this doesn’t sound just as reasonable as your concept and justification of the christian Hell.
Cruci-fiction. Classic!
I was told by my CofE school priest that people went to Hell not because they sinned but they didn't accept Jesus into their life. Even I as a young lad knew there was something bogus in that notion. What about all those people who never even heard about jesus
