WOTM: Free Will? (Not So Much!)
Over the years, I've made a number of videos about free will. But I've always talked about it from a more secular point of view. This time, I look at the idea from a Biblical perspective — and in particular, the first three chapters of Genesis.
Thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you! Enjoy! B

BriBri, "fear of snakes"? It was a serpent that tempted Eve, not a snake. The idea of a talking snake is just ludicrous. Oh, and "free will" does occur from time to time, not as the preferred method of human decision making but it does happen (and yes, I can prove it). Thanks for all you do. I wish I could support more videos but retire teacher and all that.
So… Gawd knew that Martin Harris’s wife would lose the first 115 pages of the Book of Mormon, yet let Joey S’myth translate them anyway? And only then told him that there were other plates he could use to fill in the huge missing blank? Damn, what a trickster, a practical joker, a sadist. How did Martin have free will to show his wife those pages, if Gawd already had a backup plan? Instead of free will, it smacks of free won’t.
Happiest of Birthdays to you today, hope it is great!
Absolutely right ... omniscient, omnipotent, omnipresent ... how can any of His (or Its) creations possibly have Free Will?
