My Life Across The Multiverse With Mangekyo Sharingan: 11

CLACK!

A blinding surge of crimson and dark violet light erupted from the array,  illuminating every corner of the massive cavern. I quickly formed several hand signs and slammed my palm on the earth. The ink drawings squirmed like maggots before rushing towards the center of the blinding light.

In the process, the Doomsday flesh, Orichalcum, Dark Water, Shichiryu bone ash, the dragon core, and the living Danger Beast deconstructed simultaneously into a swirling vortex of raw, unrefined matter. The sheer heat radiated through the chamber, causing my skin to tingle at the unbearable heat.

'Reconstruct.'

The flesh met the miraculous metal of Orichalcum, bound together by the chimera's mimicry biology, fueled by the dragon's core, and locked to my soul by my own blood and chakra.

The end product churned, condensed, and began to take its final, refined shape according to my mental blueprint. Finally, the blinding light receded. A small dust cloud erupted at the center, obscuring my new creation.

Silence returned to the cavern.

I blinked 'Did it work?' Finally, the dust dissipated where the blinding vortex of raw matter had been swirling moments prior. Then a towering figure emerged right in my view.

Standing before my eyes was a humanoid construct, easily reaching nearly three meters in height. Filled with imposing, organic features forged from the seamless blend of the materials.

'Well, you're pretty big ....' Its skin was a dense, slate-black hide. ... For dummy context, It was virtually pitch black. The hair was pitch black, and the face was smooth, devoid of any mouth, nose, or ears, giving it an eerie presence. Positioned where its eyes should be were two glowing, narrow slits set within deep, pitch-black sclera.

Broad shoulders, heavily muscled, standing on two feet and looking incredibly intimidating. Even I who had seen my fair share of shit was low-key astounded by the aura it exuded. 'It even has a chakra system.' With my Sharingan, I could see a mass of chakra concentrated heavily in the upper left area of its body, guarded in the specially reinforced layer I designed.

'That ... Must be the core ...' I thought, taking in the creature standing before me. For several seconds, it remained completely motionless. For a moment, I almost thought it was defective, or the process hadn't worked.

Then .. Its face, staring straight ahead, lowered to look at me.

".."

And so began a somewhat awkward staring contest where master and creation silently sized each other up. Neither of us moved. The towering giant just stood there like a pitch-black monolith, its glowing crimson slits locked onto my face.

'Well this is getting awkward.'

I tilted my head.

The creature tilted its head in the exact same direction.

My eyebrow twitched.

'Okay.'

I took a step to the left. Its head followed me. Well, luckily it wasn't defective. It also seemed to be responding to me pretty well so far.

I slowly raised my hand. The creature's gaze dropped toward it as its own hand rose as well.

Our palms touched each other and for a moment, I couldn't help but imagine the modern man and monkey man finger touching meme from my past life. That oddly offensive thought was quickly interrupted as I felt a connection form between both of us, the same as when I used Yatsufusa.

Only this one was much stronger. The next moment, I felt the equivalent of a "Mind's Eye" open up as I received a second eye view of ... Well, myself.

".."

'Holy shit ..' I raised my hand and waved. At the same time, an innate understanding of what this Imperial arm could do made itself known to me.

When I felt the information, I didn't know whether to feel disappointed or excited beyond belief. The whole thing was more of a feeling, but it could be shortened into three simple words.

Evolve By Death.

'So it worked.' A grin slowly spread across my face. The Imperial Arm had accepted me. Or perhaps "accepted" wasn't the right word.

I'd made damn sure it couldn't reject me in the first place.

Seeing the actions of my own body, I walked around, stretched, leaned in closer, squatted .... All in all, I did all sorts of things, confirming the fact that I could in fact, see through the eyes of my Imperial Arm.

It didn't react much either. The feeling of being able to see myself and see things from two different angles was practically as surreal as it could get. It felt like an extension of myself had been unlocked, and the expected disorientation was nowhere to be seen.

This must be the result of throwing in Spectator for the creation. Its abilities had been integrated into my new imperial arm as well. Not bad.

As the connection established itself, I could feel way more than I thought I would. Every fiber of its been, every cell, and the beating core, and the conscious mind made me realise that I had succeeded. I had created an Organic-type Imperial Arm—a living, breathing biological superweapon in the same realm as Koro or Susanoo, with my own materials.

It seemed however, that my Organic Imperial arm, wasn't as talkative as Susanoo. Wait ... Upon further observation, I realized that it just couldn't talk.

Well, I wasn't sure whether to classify that as a bummer or not as it also wasn't very expressive. While it seemingly had a mind of its own ... Well, it wasn't doing anything beyond just standing there.

'Hmm ... The personality of a doorknob then.' I thought with mild satisfaction.

Doorknobs? I loved doorknob personalities for companions. After all, I already had an arrogant as hell pet mount and look at how things were going with him. Moving past that, I poked and prodded, feeling the flesh of the creature.

'Well, guess I can't call you Doomsday, can I?'

For obvious reasons. Using that as a name felt entirely out of place now. Plus, despite being an organic type Imperial arm, it was still a creation at the end of the day. Each of the original 42 Teigu and Shingu were named by either their creators, or the emperor.

There was no way I was going to let mine bear the mark of something else. Hence, like every other Imperial arm, it needed a real name. Something that sounded like it belonged in the same breath as Incursio, Murasame, or Demon's Extract.

'Here we go again.'

The problem was, I personally sucked at giving names. No joke. I was genuinely terrible at it. Lash had spent nearly three whole months being referred to as "the dragon," "lizard," or simply "hey you" before I finally managed to scrape together a single syllable name that didn't sound completely ridiculous. Eventually, I had settled on Lash because it was short, sounded cool, and, frankly, I had gotten tired of thinking about it.

There was no way in hell I was going through that again.

As a result, I uttered the first name that came to mind.

"How about Mahoraga?"

".."

"Yeah. Let's try again." I wasn't that lazy. Plus, that would probably count as copyright infringement.

'Ruin?'

Well, it ... Didn't sound so bad right?

Feeling uncertain, I imagined myself shouting it during a fight.

"Ruin! Destroy that guy!"

".."

I winced slightly at the internal monologuing. '...No. Way too edgy. Sounds like a middle-schooler's gamertag.'

'Well, how about ... Demon Beast?'

"... Too Generic."

'Calamity.'

'.... that's even worse.'

'Havoc? Or what about Rah?'

I cycled through several names in my thoughts, each one more miserable sounding than the last. 'God, these are awful.'

Except for the last one. Rah genuinely didn't sound so bad. But it sounded less like a name and more like the written form of a roaring sound.

"The Lion goes .. rah."

Well, if not Rah, then what about Taga? Or Garah ... Wait ... Why did that sound familiar?

My eyes narrowed and I couldn't help feeling like I was on to something.

'... Farah ...' No, it was definitely Garah ... But there was definitely something in front of it.

'Bill ... Phil, or .... no wait. Kil- Garah?'

'Kilgharrah ..'

I paused, blinking as the word resonated in my mind. '... Oh, now I remember. That's the dragon's name.'

Memories popped up in my mind, from both my past life and present one. The name Kilgharrah, held immense sentiment to me. Not for who it belonged to but the show it belonged to in question. As for the character itself? That was the Great Dragon in the BBC series, Merlin. One of my favourite shows and a universe I had actually visited.

The majority of the gold in my possession actually came from there. 'Damn, it truly has been a while.'

Five years to be exact. No wonder the word 'Rah' sounded so familiar. However ...

"Well..."  I looked back at my new Imperial Arm, falling into deep thought.

Ultimately, after a long period of thinking, I gave up. "You know what? I kind of like it."

Kilgharrah. Kil for short. Yep. It did have a nice ring to it. Sure, it wasn't the most intimidating name I'd ever heard, and it wasn't particularly creative either. But it had a good deal of history on my side behind it and a little nostalgia from my travels. After all, as much as I loved Merlin, I doubted I would ever go back there.

Might as well have something to remember it by. Plus I couldn't think of anything better ...  "Meh. It's not like the original dragon is around to sue me for identity theft."

My current imperial arm literally had a dragon heart inside it. It was only fitting. That grumpy old Dragon should feel honoured that his memory would live on in Kilgharrah.

By the way ... What exactly happened to that grumpy old Dragon anyway?

I frowned as I sorted my memories.

It has truly been a long time.

So many things are foggy by this point.
