My Life Across The Multiverse With Mangekyo Sharingan: 12

Five Years Ago, Outside the Walls of Camelot.

The dragon's roar shook the valley. I looked up at the enormous creature circling above me before glancing down at the massive sword, shimmering blade of Excalibur resting in my hands.

"...Alright. Tonight! I, Holy Knight Ryuusei, earn the rank of Dragon Slayer."

"YOU INSUFFERABLE MORTAL....!" The dragon roar shook the valley. Kilgharrah looked at me high in the sky, practically roaring in outrage. "YOU ARE A CREATURE OF MAGIC YOURSELF. WHY DO YOU PROTECT UTHER PENDRAGON'S BLOODLINE THAT HAS PERSECUTED OUR KIND?"

"First of all, It's Knight Arts. Not magic. Get it right. Second of all, Uther bargained an official title and a lifetime supply of royal wine. Plus, Lady Morgana explicitly promised me a very generous reward if I came back alive tonight. I'm practically obligated to beat your ass."

"FOOLISH CHILD!" Kilgharrah’s roar shattered the nearby rock formations. "YOUR TRICKS CANNOT HARM A CREATURE OF THE OLD RELIGION. YOU WILL DIE A MISERABLE DEATH!"

The dragon folded his wings and plummeted downward, opening his colossal jaws to unleash a torrent of blinding, cataclysmic dragonfire directly toward me.

I raised my sword  "For The Love Of Camelot."

Twenty minutes later.

BOOM!

The dragon's enormous body collapsed heavily onto the earth, throwing up a wave of dirt, crushed trees, and shattered debris.

I stood atop a smoldering boulder, clothes singed and hair slightly dishevelled as I wiped the nonexistent sweat from my forehead. 'Damn. He wasn't kidding,'

I thought, eyeing the bruised and battered dragon. 'Chakra-based ninjutsu really didn't do shit against his hide.'

Kilgharrah's breathing had become weak. The great dragon slowly raised his head.

"You... foolish... child..."

"Hm?"

"Your arrogance .. and lust for the Witch Morgana .. will be... your downfall..." I stared at him for a moment. Then nodded solemnly.

"Cool." I sheathed Excalibur and used body flicker, appearing right before the colossal entity. The immunity to most chakra based attacks really interested me. It had shrugged off anything short of the Susanoo.

If I hadn't been stronger with an OP pupil Technique, this would have been quite the difficult fight. 'Dragon magic is usually situated at the heart right?' My finger touched the dragon skin.

'... Dismantle.'

Five Years Later ...

".."

So that's where the dragon heart came from.

I slowly turned my head to Kilgharrah. The three meter tall Imperial arm stared back at me with pitch black eyes.

'Well, I guess he really can't sue me for Identity theft.'

I walked out of the cave, pondering the absurdity of the situation. Not only had I used his name, I had also used his dragon heart as a supplementary material. The old dragon was probably cursing me out in the afterlife if he could see this.

Now that I knew where the heart had come from, I couldn't help but wonder if there was any of Kilgharrah left after it. Nevertheless, it wasn't really important as I had other things to think about.

'Well, I guess phase four's done.' I lifted my head to look at the afternoon sun. 'It was ... Way easier than I expected it to be.' To be honest, When I had the idea to embark on this, I had no idea it would be over this fast.

Well, perhaps that was my way of looking at it. After all, I had spent a few months here already. Still, you would think building a biological weapon capable of copying abilities would have been more difficult in the creating part.

Cheating abilities truly were the way of the protagonist. However, now that it was finished, I had time to think about the next phase.

'..' Only to realize that there was no next phase. From stage one to four, I had never thought beyond this point of success.

'Right. This was all done on a whim.' Just like the majority of everything I did.

I tilted my head, deep in thought as I looked into the distance, then turned back to Kilgharrah, remembering I still had a few more things to take care of.

'Well, ... If that's the case.' I ran a hand through my hair. Since Kilgharrah was done, I had one more thing I wanted from this world.

'I guess I'll ..'

Ttring ...

A vibrating buzz erupted from my pocket. 'Huh?' I looked down at the pants pocket.

'Oh, it actually turned on?' I reached in and took out the phone to find the screen already lit. Apparently, it had finally finished its two-year-long resurrection process.

'76% after two years huh.' I swiped a few times only to see a number of notifications and missed calls. 'Seriously ... That many?'

Come to think of it, I had gotten this from the world of my hero during my second year and had kept it ever since. The battery somehow never seemed to run out though that was likely because I didn't use it much and the signal apparently worked whenever it felt like it.

Yep. You heard me right. The fact that I could apparently receive calls and messages from people living in completely different universes was just one of those things I'd eventually filed under multiversal nonsense. After years of travelling between worlds, I'd long since stopped trying to understand why.

Back to the phone .. Most of the recent messages were from people I'd met during my travels.

'Cecil called?' That log was a few months ago. I narrowed my brows, remembering popping up in the world of Invincible and realising I was a good year or so off the timeline. Then promptly deciding to leave not long after getting bored. For that prick to call me now, there was no doubt that Omni-man had probably gone rogue.

The messages I read after confirmed it. Long story short, the timeline had advanced considerably and Nolan Grayson had turned evil.

'Meh. Guess I missed that one.' I scrolled further up. Since I had already missed it, then there was no rush. The world of Invincible would be fine without me. It was unfortunate that the sin of Oliver Grayson being born unfortunately couldn't be prevented but hey, you win some, you lose some I guess.

As the primary world this phone came from, there were of course, tons of news alerts from the world of My Hero.

I went through the other messages. Another set consisted of messages and calls from my teammates, coach and a few celebrities I had acquainted myself with trying to reach me with my disappearance from the world of football after my phenomenal half season.

'Sigh. I really do like bullying the weak.' Feeling the urge to take another play, I couldn't help but sigh. Soccer truly was a man's sport. Though it was already blatant bullying back then with me in it. Now? I doubt I'd find the same excitement after playing a few matches but at least the current me wanted to satisfy that pleasure. 'What a hassle.' I resisted the urges boiling within me and moved on.

Most of the other notifications were meaningless. News from Earth. News from MHA. Sports. Politics. Things I'd forgotten. Things I hadn't even heard of. Finally, I got to the top to see the most recent. This wasn't a message, but rather, a long set reminder.

'Seriously?'
