Default Main Menu - with No Ads & Overlay Glitch Fix

Could you please update it for patch 1.126? Really appretiate it.

Hi Matt. I noticed the Main Menu - No Ads mod has been broken for a while & was just wondering if it fell through the cracks since it's one of only two mods listed as broken on your status tracker? Not complaining or trying to hurry you, was just curious. Take your time, your mods are worth it :).

Hey everyone! Not sure if I will update this mod again. I might, but for now I really recommend using Refreshed Main Menu 3, which is a superior mod.

You're heavensent for this tbh. Looking forward to the update!! Just got back into the game after stopping for 5+ months only to be terrorized by the awful popups again lol.

Hello. Thank you for your help. My main menu has become the EA default. Why is this happening?

I just had to restart my game 3 times. I play on a laptop so load time to main is 30 min...I'm tired grandpa

do i have to download your main menu overides for this to work ?

I had to come and THANK YOU profusely for this mod. It was driving me crazy to have to restart my game seven times because of ads. Appreciate ya!

For the record this mod currently seems to be working for me. And I could not be more grateful to this mod, both for stopping the annoying pop ups and actually letting my dang game run (after like six tries of it breaking after an ad pop up in a row.) Thank you so, SO much. x3

Hi! This mod is causing an error in my game - the entire main menu is black. I've tested it with it being the only mod in my game, and it's still doing it. I'm sorry but for some reason all of your main menu mod changers are making me have a black screen when I start my game is it because of the new update?

Reporting here that with the new update on 8/19 this breaks my game an a UI exception, actually the main menu is an unplayable glitched out black screen, haha. Hoping for a fix soon!

omg after trying to get into my game for over an hour i found this mod and finally im able to play. I stopped playing sims for a while because it just became unplayable it seems like its even worse now i dont even know how that's possible i miss origin. lifesaver omg, im just trying to play the sims but i keep getting that glitch where u cant do anything after closing the natures calling popup. ive opened my game about 14 times this morning, and this is the only thing that fixed this busted ass game. THANK YOU 🙏

Love this mod so much because I always had that stupid issue with the ads popping up right when game opened and then once i exited out id get that stupid overlay glitch and would have to completely exit by doing the task manager thing...so this is so awesome to have!

While this mod is a life saver, it would be cool if you could add the option to hide the news the side and get rid of the store red dot marker. Essentially everything you have done with the Refreshed Main Menu mod but just don't change the background or the family at all. ya know? Either way Love your work! you are amazing!

Thank you so much for this, I REALLY needed it! I have a lot of mods, and it takes ... a while ... for my game to load. It was really disappointing when I was excited to play after work, I'd get the game open, and there was an ad, I'd close it and the blue overlay was there and I had to close my game to get rid of it and I wouldn't be able to play that evening. So, really, from the bottom of my heart, thank you for this!

Your mod has removed the glitch which was preventing the start process to load a save game. Thanks for this helpful tool. :-D

for some reason i've had no glitches lol but this pop up is annoying and takes 10 seconds to go away after i click on it lol

the way i just made the most yummy delicious sim and decided to give him a dog friend from gallery then after adding said dog the glitch occurs and i had to alt f4 and then i open twitter to see a post for this.......... ily thank you for this <3333333

The pain of having a poopy PC, waiting like 10 minutes for the game to start up, closing the ad that appears, getting that overlay, then having to force-close with TM and redo it again. Always made me wanna punch the air. 😂 Thank you so much for making this! If only electronic arts had half the commitment and care that you do.
