Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood Ep. 1 | Edited Reaction

I'm a little late to the party on this one, but I started watching the YouTube release today...and this really is NOT the Fullmetal Alchemist I loved so much! I guess I missed in recent years that this Brotherhood remake was a little more...silly? It was one of my favorites alone with "Attack on Titan" and I thought you two would love this for similar reasons, but I remember it being overall much more serious from the start. Sure, some of the typical funny/silly anime reactions, but IMO the original Fullmetal Alchemist would be MUCH more of the style you two enjoy! I'm curious to see now how you're liking this since you're already up to episode 5...I may give it a chance but it just did not feel right.
Brotherhood gets just as serious if not more. The beginning is just a bit more fast paced because it was rehashing what OG already did accurately at the very beginning but then OG trailed off into anime original content and not the canon story.
