Oh, I just noticed the thumbnail for the video says 2x5. Idk if it鈥檚 the same one you鈥檒l use on YouTube, but I thought I鈥檇 let you know just in case.

Also, what I don鈥檛 get is why Unalaq didn鈥檛 just have Korra go through the southern portal right after she opened it and open the northern portal. He told the twins in the last episode that he lied to Korra about not needing her help, so he knew he still needed her, but instead they just left the southern portal and traveled like two days back to the tribe. Seems very inefficient.
Because I think she would have saw Vaatu in the Tree of Time, and Unalaq would have had some questions to answer.
The good news is we鈥檙e about to watch two of the best episodes from either series! 馃コ

Another thing that really bothers me is how Bolin is portrayed in this episode. He kisses Ginger against her will while she鈥檚 tied to a table, and again the show doesn鈥檛 paint this as wrong in anyway. In fact, Varrick decides to write the kiss into the script, despite pointing out how illogical it is!
That scene was always so weird to me lol
As I said last time, 5 and 6 are my least favorite episodes across both series. Mako is a massive hypocrite and the show doesn鈥檛 point this out. In 5 Korra goes to Iroh because she鈥檚 desperate to get help for her family and her tribe, who are in danger of being wiped out, and Mako sells her out to the president because it鈥檚 his duty as a cop. He breaks up with her because they鈥檙e both putting their jobs ahead of their relationship. (And of course Korra was wrong for confronting him at his job and throwing his desk.) Then in 6 Mako deliberately disobeys the chief of police and puts his job at risk because he鈥檚 desperate to prove his suspicions about Varrick correct and help Asami save her company. So in Mako鈥檚 mind it apparently goes: his ex(ish)-girlfriend鈥檚 company + his ego needing to be proven right > the lives of his current(ish) girlfriend鈥檚 parents + tribe. And I鈥檓 not blaming Asami. She doesn鈥檛 know what all has happened, and she was basically at rock bottom and looking for comfort.
