The loathe for Dan Marino lives on!
Another great episode! Thank you, ACC.
Love the Dan Marino shade!
Hard to sympathise with investors looking to turn a quick buck profiting out of shake down sexual harrassment law suits. Great story though.
I think this might be your best one yet. Masterful storytelling.
Scott Rothstein and his fellow Ponzi scheme lawyer colleague Marc Dreier, in New York, both busted in 2009, were ahead of their time! Both partied with Trump. If they had operated today, under the Trump Administration’s looser rules for wealthy white people, they would have gotten away with it far longer.
Fun fact: Rothstein and Drier owned condos in the same NYC building at the same time.
Thank you for such a good story!!!
I’ve heard about this case a couple of times but never like the depth of this one. Awesome job ACC!!
I have listened to or watched several documentaries and other podcast episodes on topics that ACC has also covered and have always been impressed by how capable ACC is of finding more and different details on any subject than anyone else!
Omg it’s crazy listening to this… I live in Fort Lauderdale and bank at that BOA 🤪 this story is so nuts
Super size ep!
I think we've reached the end of capitalism with this story 😬
Haha I was listening relatively late last night and kind of dozed off right at the end, so when I heard my voice I was sure I was dreaming lol
ACC keeps raising the bar! That intro story was one of the best you've ever had and the main story was just, wow. So many layers. Such great writing/storytelling, and keeping the heat on the loser dolphins 😂 #1 podcast in the immense podcast universe.
Scott Rothstein and Jeffrey Epstein being connected was NOT on my 2025 bingo card. (And to think not much surprises me anymore.) 😬
How on earth do you find such compelling and RELATED stories? Thanks for all the entertainment!
He's some form of genius. It's the only explanation.
South Florida is the gift that keeps on giving… or taking, such as it were.
This is insane. The Rothstein firm was hiring a client of ours to provide valuations for their structured settlements. We reviewed some of their documents ("we" being the partner I worked with and me) and after a pretty cursory review, we told our client that we couldn't help them on the matter unless we sent someone physically to the Rothstein firm's office to review their documents because we were pretty sure that there was some scamming going on. Our client declined to take on the valuation work and a few weeks later this hit the news.
