Talking about the movie and adaptations, I always thought Deathnote would lend itself so well to an anthology series, seeing what other people do with a death note, the author made a one shot manga about another user but I think there's a lot that can be explored there. Id be far interested in a Deathnote movie that wasn't following Light and L

i know you're watching a lot of shows simultaneously already, but when you have time, i strongly recommend you watch Cyberpunk edgerunners, its one of my favourite shows of all times, and would love to see your reaction to it.

super interested to hear your thoughts on the next one, personally that’s the episode when I became truly hooked when I was much younger because it felt like nothing i’d seen before in any tv show.
