Death Note - Episode 5

I haven’t seen someone else mention it yet, so I’ll point out the obvious: by making Raye write in the Death Note, even without his knowledge, Light has doomed Raye’s soul to whatever awaits a person who cannot be accepted into either heaven or hell. A particularly sadistic way to kill an innocent person, let alone the first innocent person he’s killed.

You know the director of this show is the same director as AOT, but different musician.

Does ryuk keep replacing his pages? No way the death note is not full yet

there is a canon official encyclopedia released by the author with all the rules and information about the death note. this is addressed in there (and not in the show). he says that the pages never run out.

animes are typically only ~25 mins long (incl. the intro and outro). sometimes the first episode might be longer or a special/standout episode will be longer. but you're looking at avg 25 mins for 99% of animes i'd say

more like <23 and not even that considering around 4 minutes is taken up by openings and endings and depending on the anime there might be a small recap the number is closer to ~18 minutes of actual watch time.

I think its kind of interesting that this is the first time Light has killed a non-criminal yet there is no ceremony about it. We don't even see a spilt second of him deliberating the morality of what he is about to do. The way he so casually watches the FBI agent die gives me the heebie jeebies. Also, enjoy your trip and safe travels!

Yeah, I suppose it’s because he’d already parted with that sense of morality from the moment Lind L. Tailor called him evil, you can literally see the gears shift in his head to try and justify what he was doing and what he planned to do next. Anyone who opposes a “God” punishing “evil” are also evil. From his perspective he was also killing a detective not a criminal.
