Roadmap
Hi all, I just wanted to update everyone with the roadmap and getting closer to V1.0 release.
Plans so far
I have outlined the plans that lead up to V0.96 with a 'gap' in-between leading to V1.0. Hopefully, my plan will be to have V0.97 as a bug only fixing release which pretty much leads to V1.0. As you can see in the images attached, Appendix 1 is the graphic with a short term road map. Then Appendix 2 outlines a rough plan for Beyond V1.0+.
I know I have mentioned Beyond V1.0 being a Patreon only, but I know I've set this page up to be a 'fund if you would like to - but not have to page' which has shown amazing support. So I am still considering with Beyond V1.0 to a 'early release' to Patreon subscribers, and then public release a week or 2 later. That seems to be popular with a lot of Patreons I see. I've seen a lot of Patreons hide behind sub fees to simple update text posts, whereas I am glad I have all my plans out for the public to see. So a future possibility may be Patreon 'early release' then public release with editions of the game, it makes sense and rules out people 'pirating' the game.
So with the support of Patreon, I have started to advertise for a paid freelance to possible temp timed contract 2D Artist to animate. Which honestly will be a massive support of the funds raised on this Patreon to pay them, I've had a few candidates and some stuff has been impressive. The next step will be to see if they can animate with the same style/images I can give them. Exciting times!
Over the next week, I will see if I find someone sooner to try and animate the School 3 Mission/after toilet scene which would help me focus on other tasks. I can then sort out the CG for School/Graduation Ending and program that in, alongside other dialogues that happen after Bryn meets the bullies in the toilet after the School 3 Mission. Hopefully hiring an artist will save a lot of time so I can focus on game development more than graphical works.
*Android will not be a priority until V1.0
That I want to stress, I get it. People want to play the game on Android phones. I want to get a working full edition first before I look into an Android release.
*Mac is a pig to develop for
I develop and play on a Mac. I am considering dropping support for Mac though, and now I see why other developers drop it also. This is not confirmed yet, but in all honesty, I don't know why things break on a Mac when trying to play this game, or any other type of game in this market. I'm just a person programming and developing for fun, I'm not smart to know how to fix things. There has been actual games that I tried Mac versions of, that didn't work. It was easier to download a Windows version, use it through software that allows you to play Windows games on Mac, and that work better. *Biggest shrug ever

Anyway! Thank you for your support! Hopefully good things to come!

have an idea of the next planned release date?
It's tough to say, a few weeks? For V0.94, anyway. If it's at the later end of a few weeks, some V0.95 tasks like generating better and new CGs will be in it also.
Do you have any plans for the game to NOT end after completing the 12 missions? I think its rather anoyying that you have to go back to a save state/ re do the game
Yeah that has already been programmed for the next release. You will have the option to continue.
