Ahh thank you so much!! I'm really happy you're enjoying it! 💖 Lorena isn't exactly angry at Ruan, it's more that she's confused and a little defensive around him. He brings out emotions she doesn't quite understand yet, so she sometimes reacts a bit sharply. And when Ruan softens, it's because he’s starting to recognize something about her too… but I’ll let the story explain that part little by little. 👀

Came back for a rereading of your gorgeous work and realized the last sentence on page 32 doesn’t exactly make sense. I see what you were going with, but it’s not exactly a sentence someone would say in an actual conversation. No offense, it sounds very wordy and textbook like.
Hey Fulvia! Thanks so much for taking the time to reread and point that out. You’re right, it still sounded a bit stiff, and after thinking about it more (and hearing from other native speakers too), I’m leaning toward “I like a man with a necklace.” It feels way more natural. I’m sorry for any awkwardness in the reading experience. English isn’t my first language, and I’m realizing I should take this part more seriously. I’m planning to work with a professional translator so moments like this don’t break the flow anymore.

I feel the last bit that Lorena says, 'a man in a necklace', doesn't sound right.. a man in a tux does cause well when he wears it, the tux is around him? Like an outer garment, so it's like he's in it?but the necklace doesn't do the same does it?, so maybe why.. but just saying. Do check, if it helps.. Love the new post!! Thanks for uploading it.. loved going through the comics :)
Hey, thank you so much for pointing that out! English isn’t my first language, so sometimes certain expressions sound natural to me even if they feel a bit odd for native speakers. I really appreciate you mentioning it! If “a man in a necklace” sounds strange, I can definitely adjust it to “a man wearing a necklace.” Does that sound more natural to you? I’d actually love to hear what other native speakers think too . I want the line to feel smooth for everyone. Thanks again for the help and for reading the comic!

Good to see Lorena has some form of confidence when flirting with Ryan. Excited to see where the next part goes and what’s the deal with this necklace. Your drawing skills have really improved to as the backgrounds look striking in a good way
Thank you so much, Connor! ✨ Lorena showing that little spark of confidence was something I had planned since the very beginning, so finally reaching this moment was really exciting for me to draw. Exploring this side of her has been so fun, and there’s still a lot more coming. And thank you for noticing the improvement in my backgrounds! 🥹 At first, I was experimenting with a simpler look, but I realized I really wanted the pages to feel visually beautiful too. Even without colors, I want the comic to carry a bit of the same charm and atmosphere as the animation

Fernanda, are there any a modern terms or words your culture/country uses that are equivalent to “charm”? Particularly, what’s going on here and how much skill the characters have when it comes to flirting or attracting others. Like in the last panel, the newer, younger generation in the US would call that “rizz”, which is a completely new and made up word, unique to that generation. My generation used to say something like “they got ‘game’”. So I was curious if there are any terms unique to your country/ culture/language/age groups when describing such a thing, too, and what that is?
