At first, I wasn’t sure if starting with the necklace would work, but it turns out, it’s the perfect way to reveal a few things little by little. I know a lot of you have been curious about these characters for a while, so I hope this comic gives you a peek into their world. ✨💫
Major respect to all mangakas out there, making comics is no joke! It takes time and patience, but I’m loving every second of it!

Thinking and now I’m curious if they’re dating in this part of the story yet or not. Ah! 🥰🥰🥰 and the way Ruan and his familiar look at each other 🤭🤭🤭 there’s so many insights and just little things you can learn from the characters and the art too lol this project it’s so fun and exciting

How did you develop the chemistry between the two characters? I know the inspirations, but how did you arrive at the “Necklace” scene being the first in depth look 👀? How is the animation going as well?
They were born with that chemistry since the very first sketch. I could feel their connection just by the way they looked at each other. It wasn’t something I planned step by step; it felt like their bond was already there, just waiting to be explored. Probably no one cared about Ruan’s necklace as much as I did. I believe most people thought it was just a simple ornament. But that’s something I’ve been wanting to play with for a long time. Is it magical? Or is it just what it looks like?

No lie I was driving when I got the notification while I was driving and I was SO tempted to pull over. But I wanted to ask if you had any advice on writing female characters.
Haha that’s so awesome 😆✨ And about writing female characters, as far as I know , we should always avoid making a “Mary Sue” 😅. Wich it can be really hard sometimes. Inevitably, I have to put myself in the characters' shoes a little to make it sound more authentic. But remembering that I am not them. And that, unlike me, they will make very different decisions than I do.

Oww thank you so much !! To be more direct, the main ones that inspired me was Glen Keane with animation and e expressions, and Ilya Kuvshinov when it’s about colors and some backgrounds.
