A few posts ago I mentioned I’d been sketching pages for a Witch Bunny comic. Today I’m sharing the first 7 pages of the episode “The Necklace.”
While this isn’t a stand‑alone short, it connects to the animation I’m finishing about how Lorena and Ruan first met. I thought it’d be fun to give you an early peek and hear what you think. ✨
I can’t dive too deep into comic production right now (the animation still needs its final touches), but many of you have asked to see these pages, so… here we are!
I wish I could make all the pages colorful 😭 But it sure takes time. I would have to focus just on that. What you guys think?

I’ve e always wondered. Is Lorena based on your own appearance or something you’ve seen? And ruan as well. Is he based on any people that you know?
Also in your “He forgot something” post, Lorena had the necklace again in a different attitude. Is it the same scene or does Ruan have butterfingers with his necklace?

Also while the colored pages are real treat into your visually appealing style and world, it’s best to keep the grayscale style as it’s easier for you to do. Definitely want the best for you, and even if the grayscale is a final product, at least we have the animations BLASTING WITH COLOR AND SOUNDS!! ✨✨✨what more could we ask for a grand solo artist such as yourself :D

I think it looks just fine in black-and-white! Your art is very clean, so it’s just as readable when it’s not colored :) Also, Coco, way to blow her cover XD ❤️ Edit: Also those phone convos are hilarious, especially the Familia one; reminds me of my parents jajaja

Guys ! I forgot to turn on the speech bubble layer on page 3 😱, but it’s fixed now. It’s a little line that makes all the difference!
First of, so damn cute and gorgeous , second of all, how much time did you spend on the color one ? (not specificaly but in general I am curious O.O)
Thank you ! It depends actually. Lorena has a lot of layers, but she’s easier to color. For the backgrounds I had to break my head a little. The first page took me a few hours because I didn’t like the first colored version 😩 . That took me too much time for one page. I can’t help it though. I want it to look nice. The black and white requires some elements to not look so simple. But it sure takes less time.
These look great. Let me know if you plan on making a physical copy for publication. I’ve got connections at my local store
