I've learned that if I get the story new/refreshed within about 6 months before the movie, I spend the movie grading it instead of enjoying it. I'm gonna watch this after the movie tonight 鈽猴笍
My tinnitus has been acting up this week. I'm going to wait until I'm not providing my own accompaniment of screaming crickets in a frying pan. (Can never get the right spot for the reddit tinnitus trick). Could be a week could be a month 馃馃檳馃槙
Great reaction! I'm one of the few that asked for this and you absolutely delivered. Thank you for taking the time to watch it. Jorge really did an amazing job creating this and I think it'll bring a lot of non-musical people into the genre. Oh and your little blubbering wrap up at the end should definitely be turned into a short to put on your socials. It was very sweet.
I wish I had the patience and temperament to watch musicals. Unlike all the kick-ass people here, I was not born with that superpower. 馃槬
Don't feel like the Lone Ranger I have the same mental block.... I read the book and loved it but to me this was boring... Everyone has their own taste in genre.
highly recommend watching this one, it took me by surprise. i uploaded the whole thing for here and youtube with the full songs so everyone can experience it alongside me. i went in completely blind and it was phenomenal. if you've got a couple hours to spare, this was a great musical, and a great exploration of the story of the odyssey. you won't be disappointed.
I did try but got bored quickly as I am not really interested in musicals. I did read the book in English when I was in the seventh grade because it was in my parent's library of books (they had never read) which they had to impress visitors... I used to wonder if I had been kidnapped by an exceptionally retarded alien species for study when I was growing up. Then they sat me down one day acting like it was the end of the world saying they loved me (at which point I thought I was dying of cancer or something) and told me I was adopted. I was so relieved and they couldn't understand why. I did enjoy the book though it is just the format of this movie is all.
